Cheaters Love Xerath, Here's Why 

not every Xerath is scripting, but every scripter is a Xerath

As a guy who's encountered scripters quite a few times in the last month(because of boosting) I've noticed that Udyr mains are the bane of all scripters. I've seen quite a few Udyr mains who demolished scripting Xeraths that has a 100% hit rate by just running at them and killing them. EDIT: So if you're an Udyr main reading this. I love when a script tries to dodge so much they never actually run away and you can just walk up and beat on them.

There is no better thing to say complimenting a Xerath main than accusing them of scripting. When i used to play Xe a lot i was genuinely happy when someone did after i landed a sick play

As a Xerath main, I feel like getting accused of scripting (which I don't do) is a badge of honor, with enough games played, highlights like the one around 3:40 are actually quite easy, especially if the bausff is just going to sprint face first into a stun, rapid firing the ult isn't actually that hard. That being said, scripters suck and they do love my boi Xerath.

Scripters true love was reworked Kog-maw (the one they had to revert to the previous version because it was too populars among scripters). He was the supreme machinegun that simply had to stand still, AA and dodge skillshots.

thing with hwei is his complexity comes from how many different combos you can perform and knowing when/where to use them so i doubt he will have any more scripters than the standard mage

just to put into perspective how xerath is designed around missing some spells a max orb syndra combo has 294% ap ratio while a xerath landing everything has 400+ap ratio and similar if not higher base dmg

For the old esport followers, you might remember the Xpepinero scandal in 2014. After qualifying for the EU LCS playing Xerath, some players accused him of cheating while he was just ridiculously good at it ! :D

i met a ahri scripter last week i was ezreal mid, i was not able to land a single w or q in 31mins of game time on her, i did land an ult from really far away tho, luckily we had a lee sin who understood this and would just flash ult the ahri every team fight so we managed to win somehow.

As a 850k mastery Xerath OTP, every single time I have a good game I get accused of scripting 😅

i remember around 2012-13 the only thing circulating around is the resolution hack, a very zoomed out camera so you can see both rivers from mid.

yep when I'm using xerath I feel like I could dodge most of the skillshots in ARAM and hit all of them (insane combo for the QWE) is fun but yeah, xerath has mostly everything except for one thing, dash/blink he has disables, he can outrange most casters, a semi-global ult and I still remember the old xerath Q has no cast time but is just the current Q but shorter W basically roots him adds more range for his skills E is a target skill that can stun (yes Riot does have a lot of champs that has target disables that weren't able to escape change, sion and taric are good examples) R is basically the new W but short range

I think Zero is also a popular scripted champion because of her hight movement speed that allows her to dodge more skills hots, which becomes extra broken with scripts and also her AA, which is a skillshot

False information right from the start of the video. Xerath is not the most played scripter champ. Ezreal, zeri are way more played by scripters.

Knee-jerk reactions aside, I think that anyone’s carefully-considered opinion on this can tell you a lot about what they value in competitive games. It is a MAJOR problem especially in high elo.

had a scripting Braum in Urf once, he probably wasn't scripting but never have I ever been humiliated that hard by a braum the WHOLE game

I never got crazy into league, but when I tried to get decent, Veigar, xerath and velkoz were the only characters I liked and played a lot. Makes sense now since my go to games are FPS games, these characters (besides veigar) are purely skill shot based.

I ran into a scripting poppy once. It was hard to tell, unless you dashed near her. The timing was BEYOND unhumanlike, effective 100% of the time. It wasn't prediction, I would hold my engage tools for random lengths of time, using it without rhyme or reason to make sure it was 100% not intuition.

From what I seen from a few cheating forum sites is that league of legends is adding riot vangaurd

Other thing with him is that 2 of his spells (Q and W) don't have travel time

yea but when he is supposed to poke down enemies and from a good distance me an ezreal one trick bought maw when he has vision on me they instantly ult i dodge most of them i get to 25% hp and unable to fight forced to back and they get free objective what should i blame the support for not clearing vision or me for not dodging all of his maxed ult or me playing adc or blame riot

I would like to mention counterstrike also hosts more players per game and it's ranking system is not as prominent as league of legends.

I played with 3 scripters in 200 games this year ( lost all of the games bcs Thresh cant hook those nerds o.o) but honestly not a single one had knowledge of the game. Like there was a Zeri that was cleansing my Ulti's slow and my Hook even tho she didnt have vision on me and lets not mention dodging EVERY SINGLE EZREAL'S Q BUT IMAGINE if i had a Master Yi on my team....what would she do dodge his auto attacks? XD Seriously if you find a scripter and you play a champion that doesnt have skillshots (or doesnt depend on their skillshots) you will probably win. They got 0 macro and their decision making is soooooo bad its actually laughable.

As a Udyr main, I love running these they of people down. Sure you can combo me in the face, but I'm double E to slam my face into yours. I stack stick/ stack check these people.

I quit back in '16 because of the Xerath scripters in EUW master+ lobbies, it was horrible at the time.. Came back to League in April and it's not as bad right now, but definitely a problem from all the clips I've seen

how many times is the guy gonna repeat the same reason for why xerath is used by scripters (the fact that his abilities are skill shots). he also mentions that his skillshots going through minions make it easier for scripters, but scripts take into account minions so it's less of an advantage than it would be for a regular player. this video has about 30 seconds of real information and the rest is filler or just copied from doublelift's video that came out a long time ago.

Someone abuses something or cheats in a blizzard game : Nerf for the average player who did nothing wrong. Someone abuses something or cheats in a riot game : Buff the average player so they don't have to cheat.

1:16 "got all that info" but now the jungle timers and the flash timers and stuff is shown through the poro app thing. so why is that cheating but the app isnt? i remember the days where people had to think about it do they have flash,when will dragon or baron or blue spawn and so on.

The part about making champs easier to play seems more to make LoL more accessible to casuals who don't want/have the time to master them.

whats nice about cheats in league is that there is a high chance you can crap on the cheater and its not guaranteed for them to win

Riot is so good at anti cheat I played valorant from when it first released till like a year and a half ago and played in very rank from iron to radiant a played thousands of matches and maybe saw like 6 cheaters giver or take ever

Scripting isn't on a downward trend here in SEA servers, its on the rise. I think it's part of a business where they boost low level acc and sell it. Riot needs to give SEA server to Garena if they'll just neglect us.

Sounds like the LoL equivalent of KTZ from HotS. You accidentally land one full combo with that hero and you're branded a scripter for life.

scripters are a huge problem for league regardless or statistics. Because those information published by Riot are for an average player but at max elo like high grandmaster to challenger there is absolutely at least one scrpiter in every 4 out of 7 ranked games which absolutly ruins all ranked. Yes, this interval is extremely small in all league players but this elo shapes almost all of the game. Almost every Zed, Yasuo, Akali, Yone, Viktor, Cassiopeia, Twitch, Kog'Mav, Vayne, Thresh... players all inspired from an high elo player at some point. But know seeing this state of high elo can really discourage people from grinding nowadays. And its not only me, you can find hundreds of pro players, multiseasonal multiaccount challengers all across the world saying this. Riot really needs to revolutionize ranked asap.

I agree with every other Xerath main in this comment section. Getting accused of scripting is like getting told you're a god. And it makes it all the sweeter when they're foaming at the mouth with rage because they can't dodge very coreographed skillshots.

im saying this without watching the video first and see if my deduction is correct there is almost no way for you to miss abilities with xerath (except e) if your cursor is locked to the center of the enemy champion, even with the best reaction times, if the ability cast was centered on you you have no time to escape it under normal circumstances (no movespeed buffs or mobility abilities). and because you have so big range on all your abilities with xerath, you can stay safe, and just deal damage now i will watch the video and see how much i fucked up

Here is the thing , in League even if you are scripting you can not gurrantee that you will win/not die . If Twisted Fate has 900 ap and he blue cards you as Xerath you still die , problem is that the way Xerath is designed and played pretty much counters every single "skill" against him , the only way to kill a scripter player Xerath is to either turbo stack check him (Udyr , Garen that type of stuff) or with point and click stunlock , the only other way is to go full split push and avoid him and end the game that way but good luck with his 4 other teamates. Personally as a Diamond player on EUW i dont see that many scripters atleast not on the level of CS cheaters but it is definetly more than they should be.

This is completely outdated, Zeri and Ezreal are far far more common for scripters to use.

Bind every game to one single account and bind the account to your social id and make cheating punhishable with jailtime.
