I’m so confused. When the kids got up and out to start their lives it was time for naked Sundays again! Why in the hell you think having an affair for a midlife crisis is helpful is just astonishing. If you’re struggling you work with your partner to figure it out. These women never cease to amaze but sure are entertaining.

When you think about it, it actually makes sense. A first-degree murder conviction is a life sentence, and a life sentence is 25 years in prison. That would be the charge for his first wife. The second murder would more than likely fall under manslaughter because it was at the heat of the moment and rage fueled. Manslaughter charges could range between 3 and 15 years in prison. My suspicion is that he was given five years for manslaughter.

Well this is a variation to the original story, where Brian accepts reluctantly and after a few weeks leaves the wife and the wife falls in despair while OP finds someone that ends up fitting him way better

The original one i like best where Brain was forced to go through with the arrangement for months untill he gave up and divorced Nancy. Nancy foolishly came running back expecting to be a full time spouse again only to be told that she was only allowed every other week. It was that or nothing

😍😍The cop is my favorite character. Nice touch with the foreshadowing seen in Maria's death. I would have added an early discussion with the cop and his father giving him advice not to spoil his child because it often leads to egocentric behavior. This could have been used to explain Nancy's total inability to understand other people's true desire, and Jill's strong stand against her egocentric mother.

I had heard this story before but it had a different ending. You changed the final part by adding the murder episode while in the other story Nancy, after being left by her second husband, thought she could get back with the policeman, but in the end she remained alone

In all of these stories I do not understand how anybody could ask their spouse to let them have an affair with someone else and still stay with them although I shouldn't say that because that's what my ex-husband did he actually brought other women into the house knowing that I had no place to go so I had no choice but to deal with whatever he did which it wouldn't have been bad because I could have left if I didn't have a child to worry about too

I love you but I also love another.....that famous female ability to multi task again i guess. She suggested husb and lover have shared custody of her. She spending a week with each and rotating like divorced parents do with a minor child,. I bet it seems reasonable to everyone but her husb. Somehow more honest than her hiding her affair or outside love life. But sometimes a woman just has an idea that you just know will be a disaster. Most times they just will not give it up, just recycle it until you give in and then hold your I told you so comment. Not surprised if this cop proves it was a bad idea even to propose.

Stupid story. He said that he’s a great detective and noticed that the investigation on the guy was rushed. Alarm bells should have been going off immediately and checked deeper into the case.

The narrator calls the daughter Jill until he suddenly starts calling the daughter Amanda. Then it keeps flipping between Jill and Amanda for the rest of the story. At the end, the FBI agent says Amanda was the name of Bill's first wife.
