After nearly 7 years of studying, I am nearly at the finish line! Join me over the next 5 weeks as I prepare for my medical school finals!
Are you looking to start college/university as a mature/non-traditional student? Are you being told by friends/family/teachers that your goal is unrealistic?
My story will hopefully inspire you to start/keep going! I started Medical School at the age of 37! My background is not one of a typical of a medical student and many many people doubted me along the way.
I am now in my 4th year studying medicine in the UK.

I’m an immigrant doctor which in my forties had to start studying all over again, to reach my job as a doctor here, That was very motivating video, thanks for posting it, studying medicine is a long and overwhelming journey, I wake up everyday and telling myself don’t stop when you are tired, stop when you’re done, wish you the best ❤

Your story is so compelling and can be used to teach and help so many people. This is your mission in life. You are doing what most be can't or won't do . . . become a doctor which is so hard in and of itself. I had a difficult mother too so I understand your struggles (of past). We have the power to control our lives and happiness as adults. Life is precious and after my second cancer diagnosis recently . . . don't learn how to live through dying. Let go of the anxiety, stress and release yourself from those binds. Life is beautiful and precious. I see a Rebecca who is enjoying the journey now. Cheryl from the USA.

I am in my 30s and have never been able to get through uni due to depression and (more recently) chronic illness, but I started watching your videos at the start of this year and you inspired me to try one more time. I am almost finished my first semester (exams in two weeks) and it is still a struggle to push through every day, but your videos are such a huge inspiration and help me keep going
