Thank you for the motivating video. I recently discovered your channel and have watched your videos several times. They’ve inspired me to stay on my path and work toward my goals. I'm in a similar situation, just beginning my journey. I'm 51 years old. Last year, I earned a GCSE English grade 7, and this year, I achieved 42 distinctions and 3 merits in an Access course in science. I've been offered a place in a foundation year for pharmacy. If I achieve over 70% next year, I’ll move on to study pharmacy the following year
This is brilliant. Some people go to medical school for the prestige and the eventual income. Others, like yourself, are born to be true physicians. Big difference.
Not only did you become a doctor but you ended a painful legacy in the process. You fought for your life. I pray your ancestors can finally rest at peace. The work you've done is tremendous.

Almost 2 years ago I think, I was unemployed and hopeless (my country Namibia has a very high youth unemployment rate). I watched your channel and you inspired me. Today I work at a wonderful company as a tax accountant - a job I got a month ago. It's because, after seeing you go back to school as an adult I figured I could do it too. Thank you so much Doctor! When I first time start thinking of going to medical school, I found your account accidentally and I've been following you since then. On my journey, I've realized that I had very wrong reasons for going into medicine. You helped me open my mind and see potential in different things, now I'm in Nursing school.
