Manga: Karate Shoukoushi Kohinata Minoru
I just finished reading/binging this manga after finding out that the translation for the whole thing has been completed by Deadbeat-Scans.
I remember reading this when I was younger and it felt really good to finally finish it.
Therefore, I wanted to ramble on and talk about how much I love this manga and maybe get other people to read it.
Obviously, it might not be for everyone but I hope that this at least gives some light to this manga overlooked in the west.
I realize that I'm all over the place in my script and not really sure where I was headed with this video but I hope that you all still enjoy it!
And if you guys want to see more of this type of content or this manga, I would love to make more of these kinds of videos and talk more about this manga!

EDIT: I forgot to mention that this Manga's 18+.
There's nipples, man on man no consent action, a gag about behind the scenes on adult films and some very explicit covers.
Though there's not much of em, just giving a warning so you don't get surprised.

@Hans Hanzo Minami is great too but i think his character arc is complete. Instead, we never saw Mutou's training, i find that exciting although knowing that could turn into a Baki clone, he was that hardcore. I always thought that was the point too, because Mutou was like the pinnacle of strengh that Minoru wanted to achieve.

You all should totally check out Karate Shoukoushi MONOGATARI. Its a short sequel of the series, and we can see there a few new and almost all old characters from orginal manga. Totally worth reading

A spin-off about Meo (the Thai kid that helped Minoru for his MMA tournament Ragnorok) and his new friend Takeru (the karate kid that beat Asahi Taiyou (glasses guy) at the Chokedee in chapter 492 or something around that.

Unlike the main story, which eventually transitioned full time to kickboxing, the spinoff is only 60 something chapters and remains at the competitive national karate level. It also contains a follow up on the ambiguous ending with the main series, since it ended with Kengo and Minoru fighting but it didn’t show what happens after.

@@adamdamiri4823 you mean Minoru and Kengo? Yeah, we don’t know the outcome of the match, but that wasn’t the last time Kengo anf Minoru fought since they are the most popular fighters in the company. They actually fought on a few other occasions, and the score is Minoru has one win over Kengo, but they stated that the fight was a decision win, not a stoppage, so they are gonna fight again.

So you are telling me, that they were ALREADY competent enough all the while to establish these certains gaps within the story without an entire fanbase/army going ham over it & next thing you know, this series will only just now be announcing it's comeback? Ironically enough, that's sorta what I'm advocating for here. Especially since reading chapter Ninja assassin. Seems to hit all the check marks for an anime, but the reality of it is.. They couldn't do the rest of Kenichi so why would this ever start being animated? Honestly though.
