I have become very familiar with Jeff's and LMC truck! I'm like a kid in a candy store when on their website. Luckily I'm 30 minutes from LMC truck's warehouse so I can avoid paying for shipping. 👍
Nice Bronco. Congrats on finding a good one. I'm Restoring a 78 Bronco with a 460 CI Conversion. Lots of work ahead of me but I have the time. Retired last year. Enjoy your restoration and thanks for posting the video.
Thanks for the comment! Congrats on your retirement and new Bronco project. Do you have a lot of rust and bodywork to do? I finally got my motor running smooth and fluids changed throughout except the diffs. New Vintage Air AC and heat installed. Next up will be replacing the brake pads and rotors. I have plenty of Bronco videos on the channel, if you have any questions reach out!
@@jacobsupgrades I have rust at bottom of tailgate and above one rear wheel well. How do you like the Vintage Air AC and heat? I'm thinking about going that route vs repairing my existing system.
@@uavoftexas6925 sounds like you have a good project with minimal rust. So far I really like the Vintage Air ac kit. I've used the heat portion quite a bit but just got the AC charged. When I bought the Bronco it had the stock ac and heat but it never worked so I don't have a good comparison. I really like how the vintage air kit fits behind the dash and frees up more space in the engine bay and only requires electric power. I had to upgrade my alternator to run everything.
@@jacobsupgradeshey Jake! Im really considering getting that AC vintage kit for my bronco. Im not in too big of a hurry to get it since it costs a bit of change. Pretty much if that vintage air kit isn’t a huge upgrade that blows cold air, as if I were in my ford escape, I wont get it. My current original ac system doesnt blow cold, and im not sure if it will even blow cold air if i get it serviced. Hows the vintage ac system treating you? Did it exceed your expectation? Thanks.
I've always loved the second gen bronco's they a blast. I've got an 81 with the 302 V8 automatic two tone brown over tan, traded it for a geo 4dr and $300.00 cash.
I like Ol Blue! I think this Bronco had a snap on cover at one point, the holes look like they were filled in by another owner but it's clear they were there.
@@78BroncoOscar95 thanks man! Run those BFG's till you wear them out those are good tires. I just changed mine out a little while back to Falken Wildpeak AT3 33x12.5R15 because the tires I got with the Bronco were over 7 years old and hydroplaned like crazy in the rain. I can't wait to test these out on the trail.
@gregsheffer912, thank you for the comment and information. I found out my Bronco has a C6 3 speed transmission which is very common for the dentside Broncos.
@jgonzalez8250, I've been wondering the same thing. The wood grain panel is only on the glove box but does have the custom badge. There was no liner in the glove box I had to install a new one.
Congrats on the Bronco! It looks like a great foundation for a really nice build. I am doing a frame off restoration on my 79 that I have had since high school, but it has been delayed a bit because of moving to a new state. Hopefully I will be releasing some new videos of my project shortly. Anyway I just subscribed to your channel and will check out the other vids of your Bronco. Good luck wit it!
@projectmayhembronco5457, thank you we absolutely love it! That's awesome you've had your Bronco that long, it's good to know the history of it. I can't wait to see your build, I just subscribed to your channel. Welcome to the channel! Let me know if there's any videos in particular you want to see.
@michaellacroix8029, I've become very familiar with LMC truck they have just about everything. I'm lucky their warehouse is only a 30 minute drive from home.
Try doing some more homework before posting please. You were wrong on a lot of aspects of the bronco. Not knit picking, but people look to these videos for help. Have a good day and good luck with your project
