Check out the bow wave on these landing B-1 Lancers

I've never seen this before, probably because I'm always watching the aircraft, but this time my GoPro caught the bow wave created by these incredible jets. At 4:39 you can see the bushes moving as the first Bone approaches.
They were so loud in the overhead on takeoff that my mic gave up with the volume of their four F101s in full burner. The B-1 really is an assault on the senses on takeoff.
The Rockwell B-1B remains to be my favourite aircraft of all time. I simply can't get enough of this jet!

Great footage as always! How do you know when there's going to be some action? I can't imagine you spend 10 hours a day just waiting on the offchance that somethings going to happen....

Hey there. Unfortunately that's exactly what I do a lot of the time when I'm out shooting 😂 There is sometimes a pattern with operations but with military aviation it's very very difficult to catch them right. Last time they were here I didn't get any footage at all of them. This time it's been 3:30-4am wake ups and various dashes across the countryside. Not for the feint hearted 😂
