I'm not sure if you saw the M18 U-Handle brush cutter that was intruduced about 3-4 months ago? A dual battery setup of that would be ideal, especially if you're running some heavier 10" brush blades.

An M18 chainsaw chain sharpener that's portable and of the benchtop variety....think compound miter saw but designed for sharpening chainsaw chains.

Hey Mark quick question can you charge your regular m18 batteries on the new supercharger that was intended for the new forge staked lithium battery?

Yes, all the M18 batteries and chargers work together. You'll get faster charging on the older batteries too. For example, a M18 8Ah High Output takes 45 minutes, which is half the time of the older standard charger.

Just buy a couple extra batteries instead of the expensive fast charger. Fast charging is not good for batteries! It creates more heat and degrades the batteries. This is why I got the cheaper 6 bay standard charger for $119.

I'm glad I bought the 6 bay charger. I always have 2 batteries, ready to go.

@@MarkThomasBuilder I also have a 6 bay, but it’s the slower sequential charger. Works great for me. If I’m going to need a bunch of batteries in a few hours or the following day I throw six 6.0 or 8.0 high outputs on the charger and they’re ready when I need them, and it charges gently.

Great question! I recently had gallbladder surgery and I'm just starting to feel better and getting back on social media. The surgeon had the same last name as you. He did a great job! It may be next week for the livestream.

Forge 6.0 is supposed to have the power of 12.0 watt output, not 8.0 so who is lying, milwaukee tool or this guy

I'm guessing he misspoke. I recall hearing all along that it has the power of the 12AH high output.

makes sense. BTW this was the first "public" mention of the forge 8.0 which is coming in 2024 but hasn't been officially announced yet @@MarkThomasBuilder
