Our pre-production sample of our GS-4 was taking some laps around the test track. These are starting to sell fast so get your order in to ensure you get one!
Also, i have to admit, even though im an ESU guy, i have to give you guys props for your sounds. To me its the whistle and bell sounds that make it or break it. When MTH did their last run of the gs4, it just was killing me with the awful whistle. But not only did you get the whistle right, but you got the bell right too. Thats something MTH has been struggling with the whole time. So Kudos to you, you got a sound foamer like me excited
@@ryantaylor3278 they already announced a run for next year to include stealth versions, as this years was announced late into the project to make stealth versions.
Well that answers my question are they going to bring back the daylight limited 4449? The answer is yes I am so happy they're bringing this back I want to get one
Sounds great! Will you guys add sounds from previous whistles that 4449 has worn? Like her 1990-2009 Northern Pacifc 3 chime or 1974-1989 SP&S Whistle (from 700)?
Hey, just a quick question, are the side skirts able to be easily removed? I know it probably not recommended to do that but since you are making the black 4438, would this be possible?
Very impressive and attractive looking SP GS 4 class model, I would really like to own one of these models in the future but I need to find a higher paying job first, lol.
@@ferrocarrillagranciudad Several months or even days down the line you would regret spending the money on the Bachmann GS-4. They have a horrible track record and are prone to cracked gears and other drivetrain issues. I recommend pretty much any other brand GS-4.
@@orin3039 respectfully, what do you mean that it has a bad track record? Because the tooling on Bachmann engines had improved and I have Bachmann and so far, nothing has gone wrong to be honest. I have an HO Hogwarts express from Bachmann that has cracked nylon axels and gears, so that's the only one I don't run.
@@ferrocarrillagranciudad It's specifically on the GS-4 platform from bachmann. The gears in the drive train are bad and don't last. I've got a GS-4 4449 I picked up for $10 because of a broken gear. The engine is perfectly new. even the wheels are clean. Yet it doesn't even run. The only way to get it repaired is to send it into bachmann where they'll charge $70 just to fix it. I'm going to make it a display piece in a diorama eventually. I've got a BLI 4449 on pre order so I'll get my fill there.
All our GS-4's on this run have side skirts. If you go to the webpage and click "View More Images" It'll show a bigger picture. www.broadway-limited.com/7620southernpacificgs-44438in-serviceblackpaintparagon4sounddcdccsmokeho.aspx
I would say third radius to be safe since second radius is about a 20” radius but third radius comes out to just about 22”. So honestly, third radius at absolute minimum.
