We recently visited Mama Gertie's Campground near Asheville NC for the second time. This time we were able to reserve one of those mountain top sites and the views were amazing!
We take you for an upclose view of the sites and amenities that this park has to offer - including those spectacular views!

We are at site 38 currently. Love this campground. Thanks for doing this video as this is how we heard about Mamma Gerties. Amazing views up top. This place is well taken care of.

You had a lot of information to share on this campground. Love the site sizes, all the amenities and the landscape and so many trees. Looks like a fun place to spend a few days or more. We will have to make a point of going to the campground when we are in the area.

It really is a very nice campground! And close to many different activities. We love seeing a closeup on a campground before we book so try and give as much info as possible!

Beautiful location. I went there back in 2011 while take a weekend vacation from working on a TV show called Banshee that we filmed out of Charlotte. That's how I fell in love with Mooresville! Cabins were the highlight. I thought the same! Thank you for this. BTW my trailer was delayed until end of July. Hopefully. Good news is my price won't change but anyone who is buying now prices will not be guaranteed unless you by it outright with unknown delivery date. Sigh. Still cannot wait. Thank you

And that is crazy that they are requiring full price up front to avoid a price increase - definitely a crazy time in the RV industry right now!! We were in the area last year around the third week of Oct and the leaves had already turned at the upper elevation - that might be a perfect time to be there!

Thank you for watching! We haven’t hiked as much as we would like. But the area has a ton of trails of varying difficulty. We have found Alltrails to be a great resource.
