brain dominance is irrespective of hand dominance, the dominant hemisphere is the one which is dominant for language aka you can be left handed and have a left dominant brain
You could also just think about which way you draw the letter O. But I think most people are taught to draw the letter O counterclockwise, also you need to draw O counterclockwise in cursive writing.
I remember when an optometrist was telling me about hemisphere dominance. I am right handed, so the optometrist said that this meant my right eye was dominant too. So he had me do the aiming test like in this video. After closing an eye each, I learned that I am left-eye dominant. He said this was wrong, and to prove his point he made me change the position of the pen until I was "right-eye dominant". What he didn't know is that I learned to do things left- or right-handed depending on the situation when I was growing up and learning (I thought everyone as humans knew this). I snap left-handed. I write right-handed. I deal cards left-handed. I rake both handed because as a kid I got tired and had to switch.
This is absolutely true, my score was -40 and hence my right side of brain is more dominant, and I really struggle with math and logic. Anyways I am trying to improve on it, so someday can edit this comment.
I got -50%, but im actually really a bèta person. I actually study econometry. This video is just complete bs and will only tell you is youre left or right handed
I took a test before knowing that my right side of my brain is dominant. Basically what was described for people who are dominant with their right side is true for me 100%
Won't some of the images you put up on the screen manipulate the thought of the person watching i.e. the clockwise/counterclockwise arrow one at the end. Are people not more likely to just draw/move the way that is shown on screen?
omg yes that only happend to me with that arrow thing, coz i got confused for a moment so i just compied it, but then i realised, and i tried both ways and one way was more comfortable and easier so i went with that. i got 44% wbu?
I'm really confused I got more things about my right side of the brain But i'm more like my left side of the brain But sometimes i'm like the right side Is it because I spin in the counter clockwise direction =_= This is a serious scam I'm weird i'm just in the middle😅😅😅
I got -11.111 percent, I was very surprised when I saw the result since I am right handed And when I asked to my mom She said that I started to write in left but they changed my way of writing to right 🙄😂
I'm "dominant" in left (after this test) but I am actually more of the artistic side (doing arts, playing instruments). But, also, I'm always curious about things and love math (if the professor is good at it).
Hi if you’re reading thisss.. Have a great day and remember you’re beautiful 😍 and never give up on your dreams 😊 From a girl that has a dream of becoming a successful youtuber one day 💭
Did anybody notice? He said “subtract the number R’s from the number of L’s”, but the graphic reads as follows: “ELS-ERS” So... You can play a lot with numbers!
In one study by researchers at the University of Utah, more 1,000 participants had their brains analyzed in order to determine if they preferred using one side over the other. The study revealed that while activity was sometimes higher in certain critical regions, both sides of the brain were essentially equal in their activity on average.-very well mind
Left-brained here, and while I was good at math and science while I was in school...I always thought I was both left-brained and right-brained, because I love math and science as well as art.
I remember studying this "opposite function" of the brain at school, but I don't get how with this test I'm left brained, 'cause I'm a musician. Every word in the video used to describe the right brained people, is basically the description of myself 🤔😂
Monteskew X It means you're good at both science and art. You're a genius. These videos are made primarily for fun to engage people. Don't let it encapsulate your reality by making you believe that you are either a left or right brain dominant person.. Everyone has the ability to become who they wish to become. Nice one!
I'm a left hander and uses right side of the brain 😍. As well as m good in acting, Dancing and Singing. I'm a proud to be a lefty 😊. And only 10-12% of population are left handed.
-77.8% I draw, play piano, etc. Yet I have a very analytical way of thinking, as if my left side were giving input on everything with my right side listening intently.
Strange. Im a Left hand person. I got -77% as result. It means my right side brain is 100% Dominant. But i usually doing problem solving tasks and also with lot of algorithmic logic on difference kind of programming issues. I really do love those kind of task and I do not have lot of interest on Music and Creative design works.
I’ve been found to be more of a creative person, lenient towards art and such. I have also discovered a logical side of myself and am actually very much like a LEFT brained person and I believe that justifies why my LEFT side is more dominant. It probably is, but I also identify as a RIGHT dominant. I got 55%, thus being a LEFT dominant, so, oh well.
Like my comment ifyou feel like the pictures manpulated the answers... Confusing you about wich side you use because of the picture shows a certain side.
I got - 11.1111... and so on. For a second i was a bit unsure if I did the maths right but after you explained what both the sides meant I straight away knew that it was right 😌
5:41 At the risk of someone else having pointed this out already, it would have been clearer if you had kept the minus sign connected with the percentage. The percentage indicates that I have an incomplete dominance of the right side of my brain, but going by the characteristics of the left and right side of the brain...it should be the left side. Having said that, some of the tests I could not do because of my disability, which may have skewed my score.
My Results 1. Right Thumb on Top 2. Left Eye Closed 3. Right Arm on Top 4. Right Hand on Top 5. Right Leg on Top 6. Winked with my Left Eye 7. Clockwise Rotation 8. Drew More Lines with my Right Hand 9. Drew the Circle Counterclockwise
Left brained people are good at learning languages and speaking? That’s just bs, I have a Physics average of 98 but can’t even think of words in my mother tongue and sometimes stutter also I’ve been getting French lessond for 5 years at school and I can barely form sentences.
I think it’s very general, because I am great at maths and I am great with languages (I speak 3 languages besides my mother tongue) and I paint, but physics for example, is a real conundrum to me. I mean I had to study it a lot because I just didn’t get it even though maths was never a problem. And I am definately a left brained person. So I think this is like more individual thing, and you don’t have to be good at everything.
I appeared left and im still better at pattern recognition can see peoples attitudes from expressions and the way they walk and im allways doing hobbies but i am very hesitant at doing stuff and take a lot of matter in to detail i really dunno with who to identify
I got complete right side dominant but I can speak English (first), a good bit of spanish, french, and Korean. though people say I have an accent and there was this time in world history when I was answering a question and this guy was like "is she even speaking English?"
that is wrong Tomas Krizko. It is the opposite, most people in the world are right handed, so they are left brain dominant. People with right brain dominant are mostly lefties
math is fun... i have considered going into police psychology focus forensics using math and psychology i have learned up to now in college...i just graduated with a psych degree transferable!! ;)
I love music, I express myself by using that! I can relate more to the RIGHT SIDE, but this test told me that my LEFT SIDE is more dominant, what is this?
I mean, I'm a theatrical actress ( in the training) and I'm obviously a left side dominant. I'm very logical, etc. But im also good at the arts but the way I think is more logical
Actually Both the hemispheres of your brain are equal because of the corpus collosum which enables both parts of your brain to work together. If you didn't have it you would develop a split brain.
I always thought that i have the right one dominant.. but according to this i m the lefty🤔 dude this blew up my mind... But if i m lefty then yeah i have to find my potential on science 😎😁
Left brained- obviously. I've never got a result of me being 'right brained' no matter how many tests I take. But it kind of relates to me. I love being neat, organised and I absolutely adore maths and science.
