Many viewers showed interest in an update of the air layer attempts on this 25 gallon "Sabara" Plinia jaboticaba. 2 years of attempting on this tree, this is an update of the last attempt that was started 1 year ago.

Dip and grow is all I use. It is the best! For airlayer, I use a paint brush and brush on full concrete.

That’s what use and it takes about 6 months to a year. I mix it for hardwood cuttings and it works

You're probably right, I bet it is causing it to die back. Sorry it has been so long since I have posted. I have been way too busy to edit the video clips I have been shooting. This was a shorter format video so it was an easier video to actually complete and post. I hope it acts as motivation for me to post more videos soon. Thanks for watching.

Check out The Reid farm's RU-vid channel. They've come up wirh a concept of using acid like squeezing lime juice on the wound you're creating in tge airlayering process they do that a help change tge alkalinity of the fluid which oozes outta the wound.

Yeah I really should just do that if I really wanted a higher success rate. This was started before I knew about approach grafting and I find that way to be much faster, easier and with a higher success rate on jaboticaba vs air layer. Thanks for watching!

BTW, music is too loud, and your voice is too low. I personally prefer videos without music in the background bc it's hard to separate information from music
