I feel bad for JoJo, she gets SO much hate for dressing like that. Whats wrong with it? People don't realize she has a contact with NICKOLODEON. And her audience is children. They should be glad she isn't like some other female stars dressing in super revealing outfits, swearing, and making explicit music.
I actually like jojo. She's unproblematic, and I honestly think she likes what she does. Jojo's my age, and she inspires me a bit to not feel like I always have to be so grown up. Sometimes I like childish things, and there's nothing wrong with that.

Pretending to be lesbian for social points isn’t a good role model, neither is having a boyfriend to cover up your own self. Either one she’s doing/did, she’s a jerk for it. She didn’t come out as bi, she came out as lesbian. So either she was using these guys to cover herself up, or she’s lesbian to get a victim treatment (which many people do now, I’ve met at least 7 people who have)

She didn’t come out as bi, which would make sense, she said she was lesbian, so that means that even if she was lesbian, she was using guys to cover herself up, which is a shitty thing to do.

Well if she hasn’t come out officially yet then that’s a different story she could be bi, and you misunderstood what I said. @Potato I don’t think you realise how being in the closet works. Many lesbians (or lgbt people in general,) actually dated someone of the opposite sex at one point, whether they were in denial, hadnt discovered that part of them yet, etc. I had a “crush” on this guy, before realising i never actually liked him and more convinced myself that i liked him because being gay is “bad” or whatever. Its very likely a similar situation happened with jojo, her trying to convince herself more of that she was straight, which is not a jerk thing to do. I genuinely had no idea what crushes actually felt like, so i tried to convince myself i had either not found the right guy or was forever doomed. Its such a common situation and it doesn’t make you a jerk for not knowing that part of yourself. Please stop, what you’re saying is literally so invalidating.
