I like them cubed and roasted, mashed with butter and cinnamon or as breakfast potatoes with bacon and eggs. I have not attempted to make a pie out of them but be seen people do it. Thx for watching 🪴
Your butternut vines are looking really good! I'm happy with the honeynut and sweet meat winter squash we're growing, but I should have at least put one or two butternut squash plants in the mix, I just love to watch them vine out and set fruit, it's just not the same with the honeynut plants. I'm not a fan of summer squash, but my family enjoys them so I'm growing yellow zucchini for them and now that the weather is really cool here (more like October 2022) the powdery milder is about to take them out, even my pepper plants are getting hit, and I don't think I've seen them succumb to powdery mildew before now. Oh well, it's not like I didn't know the summer weather would be over, this is Michigan after all, but I was hoping for a more mild September in the low 80s like we had in 2022.
I have only been successful once with summer squash, I keep trying but the vine boarer and everything else won't let me be great! Thanks for watching and supporting.
We haven’t been successful with squash just yet , we also don’t eat it much but I’m sure if we grew it we would eat it 😂😂 Great job on you putting in the necessary work Bernie #bllessings
