Hi there! I have a ford 6610 with the exact same pump, i ran out of fuel and been trying for a couple of days to get it running again without success ! I really don't know how to bleed this thing , I've tried everything I could but just can't get fuel to the injectors, any ideas you would have me would be greatly appreciated !!!
I loosen the line at the fuel injector and turn the motor over until fuel comes out. Then move to the next line and so on. If that doesn’t help then I’d check the slide inside the pump inspection window.
My father in laws pump is EMPTY and he’s got a misfire. Trying to help him but I’m not a tractor buff, what oil is best to use and is it possibly damaged or can I maybe free these pump springs up when I add oil for him?
Pretty sure I used crank case oil when I changed the oil in this one. As far as the springs… They may be able to be freed up, but be careful not to scratch anything. I know that’s not much help, but I’m a visual kind of guy and like to look at something first-hand. I have a couple of other videos about this pump. One shows a broken spring: that was the culprit on the misfire on this tractor.
