I'd never recommend people buy the MWS mk18 variant because that rail system and the barrel are extremely difficult to disassemble. This guy is able to change the hop up on his mk18, he must be either a genius tech or he cursed his mk18 while he took his mk18 apart lol
Before I got my MWS, I was about to get the G5 instead. Great gun, compact and light, with a great kick and shooting really well. It made me fell in love with the GBBr world actually. The 2 Major things that made me reconsider and actually going to the MWS was the fact that the G5's lower is keen to break regardless the gas or use, it's just a design flaw (got better with the V2). The second thing and probably the most important was the Realism. The MWS is much more realistic than the G5. Tbh, G5 is a great gun and I would love to own one in the future, but rocking now a MWS and a MTR I could not be more happy nor satisfied. I made the right choise. Great to see you back Ollie.
I know what you mean, I wish it was based on an Evo and then I could rock it, until then ill be like you and stick with the MWS, bit jealous of your MTR, very nice indeed!
GHK G5 is one of my faves, adding an Azimuth Speed Rubber (cost £1) prevents the receiver cracking issue. and a steel cocking handle, the polymer is a bit weak.
Also what’s your take on chest rigs? Especially the spiritus micro? Got myself a rg one with all the bells and whistles and yeah I’m loving it plus I’ll eventually get a slickster chest rig to attach if need be 👍
I like chest rigs but ive been using plate carriers mostly recently, but now I have a 7.62 setup ill need to look at chest rigs, im thinking spiritus or the haley one as I already have the flat pack, but the spiritus one looks so cool and its really functional and im pretty sure the flat pack will attach to it, the only thing with a chest rig is the balance using heavy gas mags, so ill always be looking for the back part of the chest rig too.
@@OllieTalksAirsoftyeah I can only say about the spiritus which I’m really digging atm ranger green all the way! 😅 just the amount of attachments that spiritus has come out with is crazy.. the thing 2 for instance which basically just makes your chest rig have more space for MOLLE pouches 👍 sure there’s a way to add a backpack 🎒
hey ollie, I have never played a game of airsoft and I am looking to play my first game in killhouse airsoft, I don't know if u played there before but do I just select a date and group number on their website and they put me in a game with randoms?
Could be but the guy lived in Hong Kong and the Airsoft scene there was amazing, Dundas Street is like Mecca for airsofters. I was there when the type89F came out and they had them in all the shops within like a day, they even had a trigger spring for a western arms m92fs just sat there, the place is nuts. Bit of a tangent there but I hope the noverich isn't his first as that would be a shame with all HK has to offer.
Dude, not good sadly. Mental health issues have had me signed off work for 2 months. But I think I'm on the up now so am looking forward to doing more Airsoft videos soon. I recently got a FPG9, a Wilson Combat 1911 and a TM L96. Bit of retail therapy 🥳. Also loving your videos too, loving seeing that sub count go up on the daily!!
