Stage 4 Cancer fighter here with you brother. Hang in there. I have added you to my prayers. Good to see you and hear you. God bless you and heal you, Amen.
My uncle was given 2 months to live in 2003 and he's still here today. He had bowel cancer. He's a great father to two amazing children whom he was told he'd never get to see grow up. They're in their 30's now. Keep fighting mate, you can do this.
That is so great to hear about your uncle still being with us today. If you don’t mind , can I ask what stage his cancer was when he got diagnosed and did he do conventional treatments (chemotherapy and radiation). You don’t have to answer if you don’t feel like and I understand. Thanks.
@@mbd2901 I was about 13 years old when this happened so I don't really have much information I'm afraid. I just know what my parents told us at the time and then we went to see them it was pretty apparent to me that this was a 'goodbye visit'. My mum was helping plan the funeral and supporting my auntie by praying with her and all that. I was simply told that the cancer was advanced and that according to doctors he had about 2 months to live. 2 months later he was still alive. A few months after that he was given the all clear. It was nice seeing them again after that. As for treatment I am certain he got regular chemotherapy. They're 'normal' folk, average, not hippies or new age or anything. I don't imagine he would have known about any other way of doing things. He hated chemo therapy but he obviously just had to do it. I could tell when I saw him he wasn't well. He's obviously very lucky but I believe he fought hard for his children and is testament to the fact that the doctors aren't always correct.
@@I_am_nobody999 .. huge thanks for taking time to answer my questions. Glad and thank you for sharing your uncle’s experience. Really heartbreaking to watch people and their families undergoing these horrible cancer experience. 🙏❤️
Ollie! Brotha! As a gbb enthusiast and real US ARMY soldier I cannot stress enough how we both have similar passions and also have fear of living life on the edge. Times are hard but please stay strong! I want you to know that you have a ton of people supporting you and we’re all only hoping you get better! It’s possible too! I personally know a few cancer survivors still living strong today! Please eat healthy and continue living healthy! Much love man ❤️🤙🏻
The passion you have for airsoft is so cool - it's not my thing, but I love seeing someone so into their hobby. That kind of passion is going to help you through treatment, stay strong and keep it up, we're all rooting for you.
My father was diagnosed with a terminal cancer and only 2 months left. That was 3 years ago and he is now almost fully recovered. Where there is fight there is hope. good luck my friend.
@@mrfunnynames1742 well... he is OBSESED with cycling and always have been so he do a lot of sport (mainly cycling ) he ride his bike like +60km every day. The doctors gave to him a medicine that low the testosterone levels to the minimum, it is a very new treatment here in Spain for the prostate cancer. he is 63 and the Doctors said that they have never seen anyone recover like thatand it is probably because of the intense exercise.
It pains me to type this. Our son was recently diagnosed with a mass in his sigmoid colon. That's all we know until his PET scan and further testing. His cancer markers are high so they expect it has spread to his liver. He is only 41. My husband had colon surgery this time last year. As a momma I'm so scared and worried. You are a champion and we are all praying for you and cheering you on. Hang in there and fight this thing !
My husband beat stage 3 rectal cancer. It’s absolutely terrifying. My husband was more scared of surviving and living with a permanent ostomy bag but fortunately it was only temporary! Having someone to help change your bag makes a big difference. Your family will survive this ❤. Much love and prayers to you all ❤
You may not realize it, and you may not feel it, but you have amazing strength and it is inspiring. Thank you for sharing your story and spreading the message.
I couldn't agree more. Ollies previous video was heartbreaking but this update video is nothing but proof this guy is hard as nails. Hearing him talk so positively (and rightly so too) after receiving such news is wonderful to see and is a testament to his strength. What a boss.
I don’t even know what Airsoft is but you are so much bigger than anything it could ever be. You are an amazing individual to share this with the world rather than disappear and or hide yourself away from the world. I’m sorry you are going through this and I hope somehow you come through this. I’m glad you are not giving up on yourself. You are probably doing more than you’ll ever know to help people out there who are going through serious illness. I wish you well.
people go to an adult playground either in doors or outdoors and use fake guns that shoot tiny plastic pellets. once a person is hit by the pellet the generally are "out" and then are told to wait or walk to a "respawn point" where they get back to play again. there are multiple ways to play but thats just the general thing that happens in all game modes.
In my years of clinical service at one of the world's finest medical institutions (Stanford Hospital) I can attest to the regenerative power of determination and attitude in the recovery process. It is not something you are taught in any clinical course of study (as far as I'm aware) but in practice it is a well-known and frequently observed phenomenon. Patients who know they will get better tend to get better, and patients who resign themselves to the will of their ailments tend to see their progress stagnate, and steadily deteriorate. I cant begin to speculate about the biological mechanisms that may be responsible for this, but it does seem as though the body responds in some way to the signals of the psyche. Also, remember that doctors tend to err on the bleaker side of a prognosis almost as a rule in order to avoid offering what may be considered a false hope, and if the patient outcome exceeds expectations, it is a happy surprise. It sounds like you have a great support system and plenty of motivation to beat this. And like many have already said in these comments, the doctors do not determine your fate. Thank you for updating us, may god bless you and give you strength. Cheers!
It appears my comment in the last video was "disappeared" by RU-vid, but I basically said I care for you, I am praying for you, I hurt for you and I am hoping you have a genuine relationship with God and the savior Jesus Christ. I hope you are truly saved and want to follow in His ways unlike most of the Christians-in-name-only. We never know when our time is done. You are loved and I'm glad to see you again.
I agree brother. No better feeling than relief and no better relief than to know Christ. Ollie, trust in the One who rose from the dead - Christ is our only hope. Then you can say “to live is for Christ and to die is gain”. I pray that God in his mercy will give you relief mate.
Ollie, I am fighting stage 4 metastatic breast cancer, when I was diagnosed the cancer was everywhere, lungs, big tumor in the middle of my chest, and in my lymph nodes and cancer cells all throughout my body. They gave me maybe a year and a half because it being stage 4 no surgery only standard of care, 3 months after chemo and immunotherapy stopped chemo and continued with the immunotherapy, I was in remission, 8 months later it was back they made a bold decision to operate then do radiation 16 rounds. I was in remission for l year and 4 months did a scan in April of 2023 found I had a brain tumor, did surgery and 3 treatments of radiation. It will be 4 years in May since diagnosis and a year in May since brain tumor removal. I have been blessed that the cancer, treatment, surgery never took me down, I continued to work until I retired last June, I was fortunate enough to have good health insurance. I am no longer doing treatments. I go in every three months for brain scans and chest scans. So far the brain scans show all clear, chest shows some cancer but growing slowly. Always advocate for your self. The tea you drink is what I drink. One thing I can say that 8 months before I was diagnosed I had an impression to go have all my old dental work redone, I almost didn’t do it when the quoted me $15,000 had I not listened to my inner spirit I wouldn’t be here. They have proven many cancers and some diseases are from infections of the mouth and the mouth is part of our immune system. If you have any old dental work or fillings please go get it taken care of or if you haven’t had teeth cleaning for awhile. Also parasites cause cancer, a good detox and parasite medication is needed to rid the body of them. If you can get with a holistic doctor do so. Keep up the fight, mentally tell your self you are cancer free, say it everyday and believe, meditation is good and grounding. Take care.
I'm praying for your full recovery brother! God is with you and your family! The doctors don't know all the amazing plans God has for your future! Jeremiah 17: 14 Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; Save me, and I shall be saved, For You are my praise.
Ollie, if you end up reading this amongst all the lovely and inspiring messages from other well wishers, I just want you to know that you’ve been such an inspiration to me, not less as an airsoft player who shows genuine passion for the sport and the community around it, but also how you’ve taken charge of and brought the fight to the illness headon 👏 Hand on heart, you are the main reason I chose MWS as my go-to airsoft platform when I started out, because of how thorough and informative your videos were and that I knew if I ran into issues or if I wanted to upgrade certain parts, you’d probably have a video for it (which often times you did 😂). You really sold it for me, and honestly I haven’t looked back since. I love all of my MWS. Thanks for all the effort and time you’ve put into creating the videos for us, and we are certainly looking forward to many more in the future 😉 Everyone is cheering you on, and we believe you will come out on top 💪🏼 We are in this fight together, so please do keep us updated!Sending love and support to you, your family, and your friends from Hong Kong 🇭🇰💙 Keep it up brother!

Hey Ollie. I dont know you but I have seen your video about your cancer. My wife was fighting against breast cancer which she was diagnosed with when she was 34. She has won the battle and we also have changed a lot during chemo and afterwards: No sugar intake, green tea, no alcohol, no milk, no wheat, only fish and chicken (best to go with meat from a farmer), eating walnuts, omega 3 intake from flaxseed oil, cooking only with olive oil and so on and so on. I have written a book about in on amazon because of our good experience with the stuff that we did and the results. If you want to check it just give me a quick message and Ill send it to you as a .pdf for free. I will be praying for you and I really hope that you can fight through that tough time. I know that you are basically in hell right now. What helped us the most is to always find a light in that dark, dark valley we were in and use that light, as small as it may be, to find the next step. Always just think in steps and try to light every single small step with your light of hope. Dont ever let it run out. I wish you all the best. May god be with you.
What a true good human. Worried about his mom and a ton of love for everyone throughout this video. You, sir, make me want to be a bette person. Keep fighting and stay strong. I'll keep you in my thoughts.
Your videos on your battle have been playing over and over again in my mind - my heart goes out to you and your family. I have a dad with stage four and he is two years into his fight. I hope you give it hell, and I hope that this small amount is able to help in some way. Know that you and your family are in my thoughts and in my heart. I hope that you are able to pull through and that you find inner peace. Stay strong brother, much love from your cousins across the US.

I lost both my parents to cancer. Recently I've been feeling exhausted. I thought it was my fatty liver, but your videos have made me reconsider and will go get a check up. Thanks bro. Good luck.
My grandmother was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1954. There wasn’t chemotherapy so she had surgeries to keep removing the cancer. In 1956 she was diagnosed with bone cancer and given less than a year to live. She had young children and said she wanted all of them to be at least 13 or older when she died. The youngest was 7. Well, she fought and without any treatment she made it to 6 more years. And got all of her children to 13. Nothing is impossible. Fight. Sending lots of prayers.

Ollie, I work with people that have every kind of illness. I’ve lost count of the number of people that I’ve witnessed first hand defy the doctors prognosis. I’m talking about elderly people too, not young chaps like yourself. They weren’t doing the things that you’re doing to mitigate the disease either. Keep the faith, that’s 90% of the battle. Just come across this video and very touched by you my friend,2 years ago when I was 48 a had bowel cancer and stomach cancer ,ignored the signs blood going to the toilet couldn’t get out of bed only to be sick ,I olso live alone and a never told anyone but one day whilst being sick n sweating then chills in bed a called my sister because I knew a couldn’t drive myself to hospital, she came and was shocked when she saw me and took me to A n E they took my temp and right away a was taken and put on a drip ,then I got a ct scan and they could see the tumour in my stomach so I was transferred to Edinburgh hospital in an ambulance with the blue lights on ,a got a colonoscopy the next morning and they found the one in my colon.the doctor said I had cancer soon after and needed an emergency operation but I had sepsis because the tumour in my stomach was leaking so it took 4 days to stabilise me to have the operation,it all happened so fast they cut me open from one side to the other cut my colon and removed the tumour then rejoined it and cut the one in my stomach which was stuck to my stomach wall so a got that bit taken out with all surrounding lynh nodes .i was in hospital 3 weeks and they kept testing me for if it had went to my lungs etc .a was sent home and wanted home but the nurses would come to my house every day to clean my wound as after the operation a was sick it was fluid built up so they took 5 staples out and all this stuff came flying out and it wouldn’t close but slowed down enough that gause and plasters could hold it back so a had about an inch open on my stomach and it had to be changed every day for nearly a year in between then I had chemo just like you said with infusions and tablets to take at home ,the chemo stuff was called oxaplatin .8 rounds of that am now 50 and in remission but get checked a lot still but I’m so lucky as you seems to worst but keep fighting that’s how a felt even tho the chemo from round 3 onwards was putting me in bed a just kept your attitude and thought am going to get better am came this far am not giving up ,I hope you keep that same positive attitude you showed on that video and a will pray 🙏 for you ,good luck my friend ❤
I really feel for you!!! I was diagnosed with stage 3 B colon cancer in 2016. I also only had fatigue that got worse and worse- I doctored for 3 months with multiple tests before they found it. I had had a colonoscopy 5 years prior that showed nothing so they looked everywhere else for my reason of low iron and hemoglobin. I went through 6 moths of chemo every 2 weeks and it was tough but I made it!!! You can too!!! I hope you do well.

I’ve seen someone lie about a similar diagnosis for donations so I get where you’re coming from, but it’s unethical and illogical to assume guilt until proven innocent. My granny was diagnosed with bowel cancer in '92, this 4ft10 woman was told she'd less than a year to which she remarked "sure what does the doctor know". She went on to live for 12 more years just to spite the doctor. I went through my own treatment some years ago, and it sounds like you're doing more than I did. I reduced myself to bland foods and nothing savoury or spicy. Watching you talk has me in tears remembering how I went through the conversation with family and friends, its honestly the worst chat I've ever had to do. Its terrifying doing all that but if I can offer one bit of advice, do make sure to eat, keep a good diet during your treatment as your body takes a lot during it. I want to say so much more but I wish you the best, you've a fighting spirit and you're doing everything you can to kick its ass.
@@ashab1 Hey, for me it was lots of fruit and vegtables along with some meat. I cut out takeaways, sweets and soft drinks. I drank a lot of water and tried to keep my food bland as anything too spicy made me vomit.
One of the very few times that the RU-vid community came together to support and give hope to another human in need 👏🏼 My thoughts are with you Ollie. You seem like such a nice fella and the world needs as many nice people as it can keep. Don't stop fighting and my hopes and heart are with you and your family. I don't want to add to the stress and confusion around 'alternative' therapies to potentially help, but nutritional ketosis ( i.e strict keto diet) has a lot of published research and evidence to support it's efficacy against many types of cancer. Along with fasting (multi day fasts are the most powerful but I fear your physical state might not support, so OMAD would be better) it could be effective. The downside to such a restricted diet is the risk of significant protein and micronutrient malnutrition, so speak to your doc about using a suitable multivitamin/ mineral and maybe an MRP or protein shake ( you can get plant based ones) to have alongside your meal. Dr Peter Attia's work is worth a look, and maybe reach out to him directly.
Just finished watching. You’re looking strong, mate. It’s great to see you and thanks for the update. You’re doing amazing with the superfood diet and fasting etc… It’s crazy how the act of fasting makes you feel. Especially once it ticks over 24hrs since last eating. You really do look in great shape. Oh and thanks for the shoutout!! 😂 Was wonderful to be part of your birthday celebrations

Hey Mate, I'm still fighting my stage 3 colon cancer. I had to restart chemo last July because the cancer came back (only 6 months). They started me on Irinotecan this time and Fluorouracil. I found that fasting helped with the side effect. I was throwing up and diarrhea for days. I would start two days before chemo, so I would be in a state of ketosis when I started chemo. At the hospital I received the irinotecan and they they would hook me up to at home fluorouracil treatment. The fuorouracil took 46 hours and the nurse said it typically take 48 hour for you to clear out the chemo. So I was fasting 6-7 days, or every other week. The crazy thing was that I actually gained weight (started chemo at 162lbs and finished at 177lbs). So fasting in super good and I encourage you to go longer. Second, after 4 chemo cycles I started taking fucoidan (brown algae supplements). I had an exchange with a researcher that said, that fucoidan can help with the side effects of the chemo, but also makes chemo more effective. I didn't quite understand the chemistry, but even if it just reduced the side effects it would be a benefit. In December they wanted to do a radical surgery where they would remove basically everything in my abdomen that I didn't need to live and then do a procedure called hipec. I felt that was an over reaction on the part of the surgeon. We settle on a just a laparoscopic procedure to take a look around. The surgeon found much less cancer than he was expecting and the cancer he did find, showed signs that the chemo was effective. A Ct scan around the same time showed that the largest tumor had reduced in size from 7mm to 3mm and other 6 smaller tumor had also reduced. The Ct scan at the end of February showed that the 7 tumors that they identified at the beginning of July were no longer detectable. Sadly a Ct scan, while awesome, can't detect super small things. My oncologist said that the nature of my cancer is that it will come back, but that she was going to give me a chemo holiday until the circulating tumor DNA blood test turns positive again. Thats how we caught it so early after the previous treatment. This would allow my immune system and body to rebuild. And here I am today 6 weeks into my holiday. Stay strong. Take fucoidan. My friend William calls it a magic pill. I would love to compare notes on how are treatments are the same or different. Michael

My Mom, stage 4 bowel at 80 yo, had surgery, couldn't get it all, went into the remaining lymph nodes, radically changed diet, zero sugar, no chemo, went to Oasis of Hope Mexico, low dose blood cancer pill, whole body heat treatment, high dose vitamin C, other stuff I cant remember, she's still alive today, my opinion is the radical diet change had a profound affect and the low dose blood cancer pill prevented spread thru the rest of her body.
