I truly appreciate your passion for Halloween! we have been trying to build community around our home Haunt and inspire our neighbors to spread the excitement. those are some amazing displays TFS!
This is great. Reminds me of the good old days when Americans were neighborly and didn't judge you. Folks use to live happily. Happy Halloween everyone.
Was keeping Halloween alive at an Oingo Boingo tribute concert on Saturday night. A lot of middle aged adults revisiting the music of their youth and dressed in costume. A lot of good ones, too. Vincent Vega and Mia Wallace from Pulp Fiction were rocking out behind us. The wife and I went as Herman and Lily Munster. It was fun! A Cramps tribute band opened up.
I took my sisters kids out tonight in the same neighborhood i grew up in trick or treating in the 90s I still live here their was barely anybody giving out candy maybe 3 houses on each street no decorations at all back in the day we closed the streets it was so big here! They got maybe 3 handfuls of candy tonight I use to fill up a pillow case easy
It depends a lot of where and when you are, the when part meaning a neighbourhood with lots of young kids. There is a natural ebb and flow to Halloween participation based on how many kids are in a neighbourood. I am very lucky to be smack in the middle of a great halloween era in my current town
So cool, in England we get nothing like this, we do Christmas big and every house is decorated but Halloween is just a pumpkin by the front door, them houses are cool.
Halloween isn't the same in the uk anymore either. We went mad for it in the 80s n 90s. I can't remember the last time I saw a decorated house. Thankfully we still go all out for bonfire night. I'll be going to a bonfire and fireworks display on the 5th of November. I think the fair will be there too, so it should be a good night.
Awesome video thanks for your work it gives me ideas. If your in the Yorba Linda area this season we have our Hollywood Haunt yard display. We will have 20 Hollywood movies on display this year starting the end of September. We are across from Rio Del Oro Park. We have over 100 carved pumpkins on display Halloween night also.
Thanks for helping to keep Halloween 🎃 alive! Some amazing Halloween 👻 decorated yards!!! My birthday 🥳 is on Halloween, so it’s always been a huge day at our house. I still have lots of decorations from the 1980’s🎃. I miss spending Halloween in So. California (I was born in Garden Grove and lived in the Valley as well as OC) There’s so much more to do there than here in Vegas.
6:49 I haven't been back to El Segundo the last few Halloweens but I knew these people (friend of a friend ) that did a really cool haunted house on Mariposa Ave. and Loma Vista St. , I think they still do it .
Sadly so true worst it’s not just Halloween seems Mr Scrooge and the grinch have taken over all not only Christmas but all Hallidays 🤷🏻♀️ nothing like back then 😢
