I’m surprised he has lasted as long as he has, normally RB are very cutthroat with drivers, but to be fair to him I don’t think he gets equal treatment, equipment or data from the team
I do agree with Rosberg, but I don't think it'll be a shootout between Russell and Antonelli, considering how much time, effort and money has been put in for Antonelli. Also he's much younger and has much higher potential to grow in skill and speed. Putting him into a shootout in a rookie season would be seriously unfair.
He's only still there because Max wants him as his teammate, and the more the team struggle, the less reason Max has to stay. So replacing Sergio simply gives Max another reason to leave...
I love the fact that Checo seems to think the decision on his future in F1 is in his hands! He has floundered in RB and considering RBs normal penchant for axing drivers who do not perform it is funny how much time they have given him...but this has to be it for him? I am unsure who would be with Max next year, I hope not DR for the same reasons as Checo really...good on his day but has been mediocre for a while and afterall what is the point of the young driver's academies if they rarely get a chance in F1.
@@WH0oo... His point was that the extension happened well before the summer break. I came to make the same basic correction. Yes, the news of the summer break was simply that he wasn't dropped.
yeah my man's ready to retire, WCC and highest placement only behind a generational talent, wins to his name, Monaco regardless of dubious actions he managed to bring it home, in the rain winning with two teams, last to first i think he can leave content
