We have to ask you Bob, what made you drop out? Well a lot of people think it was the 78 acid trips I took. Yea, but what was it really Bob? I played Black Sabbath at 78 speed man. Oh yea? Then what happened? I saw God. You saw God!? Well, isn't that far out .
They gag worked better on the album I think. They were testing the bit out here . The addition of a choice between chopping off his little finger and listening to an entire side of "Helen Ready - The Las Vegas Years" killed LOL...."Gimmie the cleaver" LOL
Very few people had VCR's in the 70's The early 80's was when they really took off. Most of us still had the damn dial TV around 1980. I remember the Sharp color tv i bought in 80. $319.. POS lol
Chongs father was Strother Martin. He was a friend of Paul Newman. Was in 5 6 of his films in 60s and 70s. Best known as the warden in Coolhand Luke. correction: We only use AT MOST 20% of our brains at a time.. We utilize 100% of our brains everyday.. What needs to be done, is for us as humans to learn to use 100% of our brains at once, then we become super human.

Yeah,a lute is a woodwind instrument,ha,ha.Good old 714s.Wish I could still find those wallbangers, hell I wish I could find some hash.We seriously had the best drugs back in the 70's.
dave brown yep lemon 714's the ol' qualude. or crash pills as we called them. remember one time i ate 3 of them and drove about a mile and a half. in that distance i hit a curb and knocked a hub cap off, ran a stop sign in front of the cop shop and came so close to hitting a tree that the mirror on my truck folded back. next day i woke up to a flat tire and then had to go find my hub cap. good times. long live the 70's.
We used to, as a family, listen to Big Bambu, together. My parents were totally against marijuana, they thought it was like heroin, they thought you'd be strung out all day. I said, "no, I'm not even high after first period". But they'd sit with us four kids and listen to the album, in quad of course, and we'd all laugh. In their minds, marijuana and drugs were like in another world. Not!
I agree with you now but if you take it in context with it being in the 70's it's funny. Back then talking about drugs in a positive light was a big no no. That's a half a century ago.
