Doctor por favor responda mi pregunta soy de colombia y me realice esta cirugía en mi país. Ya paso un año y no noto la reducción. Junto con esta cirugía me realizaron un lifting Facial por miedo a quedar con envejecimiento prematuro. El doctor dice haber subido un poco mi cachete en fin siento arrepentimiento de esta cirugía no me gusto el resultado, además tengo debajo del pómulo como un aumento no se si sea grasa o ese cachete el dice haber subido pero no se ve bien siento. que perjudica el resultado:
Did you watch the video? They don't shave or file the bone (the bone is quite thin anyway), they cut it, move it inwards (and slightly up to prevent sagging) and fixate.

this is a standard question and is answered from many doctors if you search many videos. The general answer is yes, they used to do that way the past like 10 years ago but they stopped doing it now because the cheekbones are thin and easily fractured if shaved like that, so they had new technique of cutting and moving the bones to keep the thickness
Hello doctor when can we remove those screw and hardwares after this another question if we removed those screw and hardware will our face change again
They can be removed starting from 6 months after surgery, and up until two years. In some cases, even after 2 years, it's possible to remove them but it will require xray and CT examinations. The face should not change again as long as the doctor makes sure that the bones are healed and won't move after the pin/plate removal.
Hi doc, I have asymetrical cheekbone and it causes my eyes and eyebrows are uneven, one side is higher and one side is lower. Could this problem be fixed?
Hello, thank you very much for watching. The type of surgery depends on your case and your goals of how you want to look after surgery. For example, cheekbone reduction surgery can make the cheekbones look smaller. V-line surgery can help make a wide face look more narrow, etc.
