@@Hopefully.2024 there is a wonderful interview I watched on RU-vid a few weeks ago with Prince Phillip and Prince Edward about the Duke of Edinburgh Awards and the work they were doing together and what it meant to them. It was brilliant and showed how Prince Phillip was sharing the work with Prince Edward and how he saw him as the future of the Award. Everyone should watch it. I think it was done in the 1990’s.

The commonwealth has no clear role; it confers no trade privileges upon its members, does not coordinate their defense or foreign policy, and lacks both the budget and the executive authority to make a practical difference in the world. Life within a commonwealth is not equal and wealth is not shared equally. Some people have advantages over others. People with wealth and influence within a commonwealth tend to fare better than people with few resources and no input into the community. Some people are better positioned to receive more money, and other people are better connected politically and socially.

She's wearing a ribbon on her lapel and she's one of the Hostesses of this event. See her 2:37 introduce some people to the Prince. And smiles a lot. He sounds like a 16 year old kid. How did you come to the conclusion that no one has ever heard his voice? Do you think he communicates with his fingers? Should one assume that you have heard Mia, Savannah, and all the other grandkids but not his voice?

The boy doesn't want to be in the spotlight, at least not at this time.

@@Hopefully.2024 Why are you so angry?🫤 I don't mean that he doesn't talk at all, of course he talks to his parents, sister and other relatives, they've heard his voice, but I mean that Society hasn't heard his voice yet. And as for Mia, Savannah, they are still little girl children and don't have any meaningful status/title in the family, and James, for your information, holds the rather high title of Earl of Wessex, and it's a wonder we haven't heard his voice yet.

Not many people know this but he suffers from severe anxiety, which is why he doesn't shake hands with everybody. He likes to keep his hands free as often as possible so he can self soothe as required. His anxiety became more pronounced since the attacks from harry, and were at its worst, as well as grief, when his parents died. You could see this in the way he lost so much weight. He seems to be managing it a lot better, but his jovial manner hides a lot of it. His slightly jerky movements and repetitive words, show he is not that not comfortable, but nonetheless less does his duty. It's quite sad really.

You've never bothered to look up what he's done all these years have you. How he's been running the Duke of Edinburgh Awards for many years for his father? How many patronages do you think he has?

Stop listening to Harry. The most respected Royal atm is like 17th in line. They are not all itching to be monarch. It's quite the opposite. The spares have much more freedom than the heir and the monarch, and the one who calls himself that is proof of that as well.
