Cheese-Burger Sliders
Soft, delicious, freshly baked rolls stuffed with cheese and meat.
Ingredients:
For the rolls;
3/4 cup warm water
2 tbsp granulated sugar
1/2 tbsp active dry yeast
1 large egg
2 tbsp melted butter, unsalted
3/4 tsp salt
2 and 1/2 cups All-Purpose flour, divided (add more if needed)
Extra melted butter - for brushing
Freshly grated parmesan cheese for toppings
For the beef mixture:
1 tbsp olive oil
1 large onion, cut into strips
1 lb ground beef
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 cup Italian tomato sauce (add more if desired)
1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
Additional ingredients:
12 pcs American cheese slices
2-3 cups freshly grated cheddar cheese
