Dear chef John, my dad and I really like watching your cooking videos. We have learned a lot, and have even tried and enjoyed some of your recipes. We also like the way that you introduce your videos. We hope that you keep making more! Sincerely, NK and LQK age five.
When you cover it with plastic wrap, you should totally turn it around and give the other side a dusting with spices and cheese too. I use granulated onion, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika and finely grated irish cheddar. Delicious.
My grandkids love them and when they come over, the first thing they do is go to the fridge to see if grandma has Puff pastry and Parmigiana-Reggiano because they love their cheese sticks. Thank you, Chef John. Love your sense of humor.🤪
Omg, I just love your humour, Chef! It's one of the reasons why you're my favourite cook, it's just so fun to watch your videos! Not only because your recipes are awesome but it's also veeeery entertaining how you do your voiceovers :D Just wanted to say thank you a lot and keep up the work :)
When I search out a recipe online, I ALWAYS follow it with "Chef John" because I know it'll be the best, most tastiest recipe out there :) Also because I love it when he throws in a Slim Shady reference once in a while :P Anyway, this is going to be an excellent addition to the cheese board I'm putting together for a party. Thanks Chef John!
This video doesn't suck! Also, I love watching @1:12 because you can't see the seasoning being sprinkled on, it just looks like it's appearing on the pastry. Magical.
made these for my elderly residents tonight, (Im a cook at a assisted living place) only cooked to golden brown so they were light and a little crunchy....no cayenne, I used salt, pepper, dried rosemary, oregano, basil and parmesan..WOW, I highly recommend this! Thanks chef, another hit.
Thanks ! This will be my first oven cooking from scratch ! Im a reall dummy if it comes to cooking, and im glad this isnt hard and you give few tips every now and then. Thank you !
every time i watch your videos, i'm just as impressed with your hilarious and succinct commentary as i am with your cooking! keep up the awesome job :)
I am so impressed with your cooking skills...and I try and cook your recipes when I am able...my fiancé has Muscular Dystrophy and has a gluten problem so a lot of your dishes she loves too...thank you for your blog.
Glad you mentioned how to make it bread-like or crispier!I dislike bread intensely, so I would have counted it as a failure, and never made it again if you hadn't made that important distinction! The crispier the better! Thank you!
I hate spicy food but for the last 5 months since I started making your recipes everyday...I love it! I put cayenne on everything now lol! My husband thanks you for my improved cooking...before I found your videos, I could only make Kraft Mac and cheese haha.
Hahaha! l have followed you for a few months, and now I'm brainwashed already....the way you do the commentary is awesome man. #FoodWishes #LifeRenu #Yummylicious you guys are in my favorites list.

Chef John you are the best in the whole world! I could not stop laughing at your puns, you are just so funny and I really love your voice :D Great recipe by the way.
Nice recipe! you're such a great chef. You should make a video about kitchen tips. Because I think every one watching this type of videos wants to learn to cook, but not every one has the skills.
