Love this casserole. I'm 100% pro Velveeta. It's good stuff. Someone showed me a trick for meals like this for folks who "think" they don't like onions. They grate the onions very finely, and then the onions blend into the meat instead of the larger pieces, and most people have no idea there were onions in there. They just enjoy the enhanced taste. I prefer the chunks of onions myself. For stuff like this, I want so much fresh-ground black pepper on it that I can see it. Yes, God is good all the time. Thanks for sharing that reminder.
Talli Faye, I have watched many many cooking shows and podcasts over the years. Some good, some not so good. But yours...GEN-U-INE. You make it easy to follow and your ingredients are such that I don't have to go on search for them at the store. But, best of all you are a beautiful soul...and a great cook! Thanks!
Oh, this looks great. One suggestion, though. Before pouring the milk in, pour it into the pan with all that goodie in it from the ground beef and onions, and swirl it around while you scrape the pan, to get that flavor into the casserole, too.

Ok so we have a family of 6 and I can promise you that we wouldn't have any of that left. I have a casserole crock pot and I really think that this would work up good in it. I discovered that 95% of my casserole recipes can be done in it perfectly.
Just harvested my baby golden potatoes, gave half to a neighbor, she came back and gave me 20 porkchops, it pays to be neighborly, trying your recipe now. MMM delish I parboiled the taters and added 1/2 ea red & green bell peppers and a small yellow summer squash, I guess that makes it a summer bounty casserole. God is good!
Didn't do the foil trick shown in your later video. Spray the inside with oil to not stick. I feel better now that you just learned that too😊 This is absolutely a comfort dish❤

Awhile ago, I made fried (cubed) potatoes & onion, and fried some bacon, then put cabbage over the top and cooked covered. I told my husband as Talli Faye would say "MMMM HMMM, you KNOW that's good, right!?" 😁
I make something similar but I mix a can of cream of mushroom soup to my meat after it's cooked and drained. I also slice and par boil my taters first just to get a little jump start on things. I wished you were my neighbor. Lisa from Oklahoma. ❤😊
Your casserole looks and u know taste amazing Ta Faye !! Thsnk you !! I forgot ti tell you in your cookie recipe when you need room temp cream cheese, butter or eggs but don’t have time ti wait just out some very warm tsp water in a jar or tall glass snd drop your cresm cheese in the foil wrapper or butter in its wrapper or egg in the very warm tap water for 7-10 minutes snd it will soften the item !! It’s saved me several times in the past now I just use the very warm water method and don’t worry sbout setting it out ahead of time !! God bless ❤️🙏🙋🏻🌈🌈
I think you could even put a little layer of dill pickle slices in that too. I’m going to try it. Maybe even sprinkle some crumbled bacon and diced tomatoes.
Hey Talli Faye! I just recently discovered your channel and I absolutely love it! Everything you make looks so delicious and I love your personality! You're so positive all the time!! I wanted to tell you that whenever I put foil over a casserole I always spray a little bit of cooking spray on the foil and that way it doesn't stick to the top of the casserole...It works really well 😊😊
You should make some of that with ground or cut up sausage and mix up an egg in that milk. Breakfast casserole. You could also cream cheese instead of the velveeta.

I just made this and boy is it good. I almost pulled the you know you want me to bite it. lol, you crack me up big time! I think net time I will use some condensed milk. Keep up your great content.
Looks great with one comment: I'd have rinsed that skillet with the milk to pick up all the fond off the bottom, and then poured it into the casserole pan. Don't let one speck of that skillet browning flavor go to waste!
