May is National Hamburger Month, and what better time to head down to the Fabulous Las Vegas Strip, and seek out the very best burgers we can find? Or, at least our favorites - and in this video we have lined up six of them! These are our personal picks, and you can't go wrong if you choose to satisfy your burger craving at any of them...

I'm sorry, but I can't justify paying $20+ for a hamburger. Don't care how good it taste or who makes it. Simply ridiculous. I was last in Vegas in February of 2020, right at the beginning of covid. My last day I ate lunch begore my flight at Tom's Urban at the New York. Had a bacon cheeseburger, fries and 2 drafts. Bill was $54 without tip. I said enough, no more being gouged. I haven't been back to Vegas since and don't plan on returning. Yes, I'm well aware they don't miss me, but I don't miss them either

I agree. I've always said that at a certain point, no matter how tasty, the price leaves a sour taste in my mouth. There are plenty of great deals left to be had but none of them are on this video and none are on the Strip. Locals casinos are where you'll find them.

I agree, paying $20 for a burger with no fries or anything is absurd. I would never pay that much for a burger at home however, when I’m on vacation or in Vegas I already know how ridiculously priced everything is so I probably would spend the money.

Gordon Ramsay Burger & Black Tap: I have been to both of these places exactly one time each. I was not impressed with the food at either restaurant, and I have no desire to return to either one of them. In-N-Out: We have a ton of In-N-Outs all over California, and I have a policy of trying to avoid eating at restaurants in Las Vegas that I already have easy access to in California. To the best of my recollection, I have only ever eaten at In-N-Out in Vegas one time (not at the location at Linq Promenade), and that was only because my dining companion had never had it before and she wanted to try it. Bobby's Burgers: I used to really enjoy Bobby's Burger Palace when it was out in front of Aria, and I went there numerous times. I especially enjoyed their burgers with the potato chips inside of them. I don't know if this is true or not, but I heard they had to shut down Bobby's Burger Palace because they weren't making enough money to cover the high rent on the Strip in front of Aria. They then subsequently struck a deal with Caesars Entertainment to bring a slimmed down, slightly lower quality version of the restaurant back as Bobby's Burgers in the food courts of some Caesars properties, which makes sense considering how many other restaurants Bobby Flay has at Caesars establishments. Holsteins: I have been to Holsteins twice. The first time I went there, the burger, fries, and milkshake were absolutely delicious, and everybody loved their meals. I went back about a year later and ordered the exact same thing. It wasn't nearly as good, and my dining companions weren't impressed with their meals either. Shake Shack: When the location in front of New York-New York first opened, I went there pretty frequently. But as other restaurants continued to open up in Vegas (as they always do), I started going there less frequently. I still enjoy it every once in a while for a quick burger or hot dog and fries, but I usually just go to the location at The District near Green Valley Ranch. Another fast food level burger/hot dog place that I go to sometimes is Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburger. I like the location on Eastern Avenue in Henderson because Freed's Bakery is literally 20 steps away.

In and out food is so no big deal. Yea you get a lot of food for a cheap price but the food isn't so great. And my nephew said the same thing when he went to the one in CA.

Last Sunday we stayed at Caesars Palace and either you were at Bobby's on a good day or the one at Caesars is just a bad one but the 2 burgers we ordered were awful. We ordered the Bacon Crunchburger and 1 order of fries to share. They burgers were way to salty and the cheese was worse than Velveeta. They fries were so so. Not a fan and even if the ones at Harrah's are great it would be very hard for me to order again. Thanks for the video

GR is very expensive, even if it’s good, it can’t be that good. Cost detracts from the experience and represents a failure of chef/management as great as bad food.

@@JW-eq3vj I would be more accepting about waiting for a seat. If a restaurant is producing a great product/experience, you have to expect it to be popular. Charging more for a burger than I can get a decent steak for, that's not okay. Even if the burger is the bestest evar, the customer still has a terrible experience because they know they paid too much for it.

All good choices, ate at a few of them already. Found one that I think should be on the list, sickies . Just randomly found it while at the outdoor mall past the Las Vegas sign. Had a burger, the jalapeño peanut butter burger and it was amazing. All the flavors blended together well and not over powering each other.

This vlog made me so hungry. I’ve never been to Gordon Ramsay Burger because it’s so expensive but now you got me tempted to try it. Black Tap menu looked good and I like that fries were included with the burger. Ironically I went to In N Out today where I live and like you I don’t get the secret sauce I get mustard instead. I still think they are the best fast food burger and value around.

RUMOR: M Resort is thinking of possibly backtracking on their plans to turn the old Studio B Buffet space into a food hall. There is now a chance they MIGHT bring their buffet back. If this happens, no word yet on whether they would keep the same Studio B Buffet name or whether they would name it something else. If true, this is very good news because Studio B Buffet was always in my Top 5 favorite buffets in Las Vegas.

I went to GR burger and was amazing. However I went to GR pub in Caesar’s and it was completely awful. Burger was a small hockey puck and it tasted like one too. Huge contrast between those two spots. Stick to GR burger.

I never knew about the Bobby Flay's. I will have to check it out on my next trip. There used to be one at my local casino, but they closed up years ago. I always like to give a shout out to Sidecar Betty's at Park MGM. A very non-descript place. Even if you are in the Park MGM, it's easy to miss. Their burger is a big no nonsense greasy burger.

I love a good cheeseburger. $10 for french fries, yea the food at Gordon Ramsey isn't cheap. I went to in and out burger twice, first and last time. The taste of the food didn't make me want to come back. When I went there were a lot of young people and they don't have a lot of money to spend in Vegas so of course they go to in and out. $20 for a classic burger at Holsteins is too much to spend. The shack burgers at Sake Shake isn't too bad in price.

Me and the wife just went to Slaters 50/50 off of Lake Mead. We had for a starter the hand breaded frickles. Than we got the the triple B bacon burger split in two with one side of onion rings and one side of fries. Our service was so amazing and the food was so good. I highly recommend them for a good burger. Thanks for the video!

Loved this one because I'm a big burger guy (both in enjoyment of them and in physical size). My personal favorites are Shake Shack #1, In-N-Out Burger #2 and Johnny Rockets #3 because I tend to go to the 'cheaper' places. But you've certainly got me interested in trying the celebrity burger places (Gordon Ramsey and Bobby Flay). There's a few others I wanna try: Posh Burger (Aria), Whataburger (just opened), Lola's Burgers (also at Aria), Fatburger (Excalibur), and even the Ketchup Burger Bar at the Miracle Mile shops. Holstein's and Black Tap are ones I hadn't heard of that look good. So hard to decide! Thanks for the video. Always helpful. (Can't say I agree on no mayo though! Lol)

In-N-Out Burgers cannot be beat. Especially for the price. No way will I pay those ridiculous prices for the LV wanna be celeb chef burgers. When a burger is so messy and big or so big and thick that you can’t pick it up then I leave it. More expensive does not mean better in my book. Thanks for sharing.

Great video Dale and Paula. Do you always eat your burgers 🍔 cooked medium? Here in Quebec, they don't asked, it's always well done 👍. That's due to the hamburger disease. Every year some people get to the emergency because of this. I never had a medium cooked burger.😮

Bobby’s burgers are pretty average ….. in and out is better….. black tap and Holsteins at awesome….. but Bob yes? Makes you wonder about reviews being comped these days…..

Let me assure you, unequivocally and emphatically: nobody comped these reviews! We paid for those six meals out of our own pockets, and those were our honest opinions. They will of course not agree with yours or maybe no one else’s, but nobody paid us to have those opinions.

I loved your review of the burgers. I was in Las Vegas about 10 days ago and tried the mushroom Swiss burger at Public House at Luxor. It was a double patty burger and I had them leave one patty off. It was an excellent burger and the best I have had in Vegas so far. I highly recommended their burger.

Wow! Now I’m craving burgers (and I just had one last night for dinner!) I visited in and out during one of our last trips to Vegas. I agree with your assessment though you can’t beat the price!

Black Tap is by far one of the best burgers anywhere. Great beer list and amazing quality of meat.

These were our six favorites, and as we were choosing, Burger Bar didn’t make the cut…maybe in the future we’ll pay them a visit on camera. 😊

$68 for a cheeseburger and fries and “it was worth every penny.” I don’t think so! They missed one of my favorites, Strip Burger, outside on the North side of the Fashion Mall. Great burgers, excellent onion strings and really good beers on tap. I don’t know how In-N-Out does it. They are cheaper than McDonald’s with a far superior product. But really, $68 for a burger? C’mon man!

About Strip Burger: We had that on our original list, but it closed permanently at the beginning of April this year. We hadn’t even known, and I bet lots of other folks didn’t either! No explanation as to why - owners are planning a new restaurant for that spot.
