Cheetor Retrospective 

Despite how little lines he gets, I love how polite ROTB Cheetor is.

Rotb Cheetor was wildly different from his OG BW version yet somehow still feels like the same character. Like the matured version that didn’t experience Beast Machines from another timeline.

I love that Cyberverse gave us the meet up I have wanted for years between Bumblebee, Hot Rod and Cheetor.

I think we could all agree with Beast Megatron when he said: " Ahhhh...❤ Pussy Cat! A sneak attack! I like you!"❤

Out of all the Bumblebee-esque characters introduced, Cheetor has always been my favorite. I always did love how cheeky he would get with not only the Predacons but to his fellow Maximals too. And his feline nature was just the icing on top(especially since I have a few cats of my own👀). His 90s lingo may be dated but I love it sm, he's trying so hard to be hip and cool fr. I just wish they could've given him more lines with Tigatron, especially after hearing "Big Cat, Little Cat" line. I would've love to see more from those interact more. Overall, I just love this funky, transforming Cheetah. Never grew up with Beast Wars but it's awesome they're getting the spotlight in mainstream media. Just wished they could've given them more time to shine in RoTB😅.

A shame we were never able to see Cheetor leadership after Beast Machines, it would have been amazing to see him as full and growth leader, even becoming a matrix bearer

Cheetor was definitely a spiritual successor to Bumble Bee abd a great character to show growth!( Surprised these 2 never teamed up!) Love his voice actor, Ian Corlett, as he was Ocean Dubs 1st Goku, Mega Man and Dr. Tofu from Ranma! Just a swell actor and character himself!😂

Beast Wars gave us not only some the best characters of Transformers, but of the animation in general

I really love all the beast modes from Beast Machines, but Cheetor's is my favorite. In fact, it's my all time favorite alt-mode in all of Transformers. The ROTB Cheetor's beast mode reminded me a lot of it.

"Beast or Bot, we're still the Baddest!" Such an underrated quote.

Yup he still spot on smooth. Ian James Corlett is my favorite voice actor as Cheetor. That cat is cool with those spots. Can wait to see him soon as a cool cat kid or a rebellions teenager he is cool.

As a fan of the original Beast Wars series I thank you for this. Great overview on this iconic character in the series. Also ironic how Cyberverse allowed Transformers fans to see all three kid inspired members in one show with Bumblebee, Hot Rod and Cheetor all in a few scenes together.

Cheetor was the first transformers toy I ever had (Telemocha Series, Beast Wars in 2007). I always had a fondness for cats, and I like his beast form in Rise of the Beasts.

I see cheetor, hot rod, hot shot and bumblebee as brothers in a way. Cheetor and bee same age,hot rod and hot shot a year older. I even got my girlfriend a reissue cheetor for her birthday to start her collection.

Cheetor always came across as the journey that Hot Rod should have had when introduced before becoming Rodimus Prime. I love both, but Hot Rod only had 4 appearance in the cartoon in order to learn lessons of leadership for Rodimus Prime

If only Cheetor and Rhinox got more screen time and lines to speak in ROTB. Rhinox didn't even get a line. They even filmed a scene with him talking but they cut it out. Very sad.

Daaamn...Cyberverse got pretty dark pretty often, didn't it!? 😮😮😮 Great, now I gotta hunt down one of the Cyberverse Cheetor figures - those actually showed up on shelves, unlike several others, but *NEVER* stuck around for very long!! Then again, there's a couple other Cheetor figures I need to get (like MP34 or the KO).

Definitely can hear Mega Man in the BW Cheetor. I suspect we'll see at least one transmetal version of Cheetor before Legacy ends. Hasbro really missed the trick having Cheetor and Ravage as rivals in Kingdom. They have them in the same space but one catfight isn't enough.

Ian James Corlett is hard to get a hold of, I`d like to interview him. Great retrospective, well researched as always. I do like the TM2 model and characterisation better, the teenager type was fun to watch. I`m hoping a TM2 update will happen soon.

Imo Cheetor is the only kid appeal character that grew naturally into a leadership role compared to his other Cubertronians.

Galaxy Force Ligerjack (Cybertron Leobreaker) is an homage to Transmetal 2 Cheetor.

Cheetor Is like a mix of bumblebee and hotrod/rodimus.

Cheetor is one of my favorite Maximals in beast wars I thought he would be mute just like bumblebee because when the first trailer came out he didn’t speak. I thought scourge ripped cheetor’s voice box out just like Megatron ripping out bumblebee’s in transformers prime.

He is a mix between Hotrod, Sunstreaker, Sideswipe, and Tracks.

The Energon Universe was made for people that grew up watching G1 TF cartoon & GIJOE cartoon.

He is a cool cat with sunglasses who likes to eat cheesy flavored snacks, one wonders how he gets enough to eat consedering that a cat is carnivore, but he seems to enjoy it, and whats more, he can talk and walk around like a person, so perhaps its a mutation. Appearing first in 1986 and changing over time, the mascot has been part of advertisements and one knows what they are getting when they buy the snack. Two video games made off this one guy! A tv show was planed but never happened and - wait what? ... Oh OHHHHHHH Cheetor... not Chester Cheetah... nevermind then.

I also love Cheetor in Cyberverse, his design in TFA cuz Idk that version too much, & I hope in RotB (haven't seen it yet) Cheetor is good, idrc if he may of may not have a small amount of screentime, as long as hes cool & in character, I'm happy! Wait, does this Retrospective have any RotB spoilers? Cuz again, I haven't seen it yet.
