Thank you so much for these recipes. Bloody brilliant. I tried to make the Ranch today but the written recipe is incomplete and I couldn't tell how much of everything you were using from the video. Might you please upgrade the recipe so it's complete? I made a ranch dressing with silken tofu which was nice but I can't compare it to anything because as far as I know, we don't get Ranch dressing here in Australia.
This has got to be the best award winning video ever! Frankie has the patience of a saint! She is a real doll and fantastic actress. Thank you for the upgrade on the nooch, thank you for sharing all your talents and delicious recipes. Happy Spring.
@@DerekSarnoChef chef derek endless thank yous for elevating vegan cooking to this insane level and for also promoting the ethics of veganism which is so needed for the movement so people don’t think it’s just “a diet”. you sir, are an international treasure 🩶 (and frankie too! 🐾😘🩶)
I recently came across your channel and I am hooked. Nothing against the younger generation vegans, I watch them too, but being a seasoned male what a pleasure it is to see another male with salt and pepper hair who is vegan, like me, who loves to cook, like me, and has a four legged best friend like me. Then I saw your resume of experience, holy shite, that is not me. But you may have given me the motivation to put my vegan word out into the world. Keep cooking brother!
I am usually pretty sad to see comments or discussions about how younger generations don't do this or that but I will admit that this is the first vegan channel I've come across that seems to be making food that is bulky, seemingly packed with all the nutrients, and looks REALLY damn tasty! I am not vegan but I have no issue eating vegan meals/dishes if they TASTE GOOD. So, i am excited to try some of this stuff!! Thanks algorithm!
Now we need to see all the recipes to use these on. So excited. And Frankie deserves an extra special treat, does she know she’s an award winning actress? 👏👏👏👏🤩
Been WFPB vegan for 15 years (Never going back!!) and just loooove this nutritional yeast composite of flavors. This is THE perfect 'tool' to have on hand to make quick vegan anything. I am going to make a set of these for myself, but also for my vegan brother - the holidays are before us!. We are both in our 70's, happy and healthy. Thanks for these great recipes! Love your channel.
Just starting out plant-based and your videos Derek have opened my eyes to having 'real' food rather than a lettuce leaf and a carrot! Exceptional content and exceptional video editing! Really enjoying your videos and trying to binge-watch them! Thank you for sharing your amazing skills with everyone. 👍
Choking on my lunch because of the intro, darn you! Never thought to make seasoning blends with nooch, and this was very educational so I'm convinced that it's a good idea. Don't wanna get on Frankie's bad side . . . Thanks for posting 🙂
This gave us such a laugh this morning. My hubby works in retail and people are brutal so lately we start our mornings watching your talents, humor and amazing recipes to get feel good vibes for the day and ideas for delicious vegan food. Thank you!! 😃
Oh my gosh, what's wrong with you! 🤣😂🤣 I swear this is New England humor, I almost fell out of my chair! Your videos just keep getting better. Frankie is such a good girl! Thanks for the laughs and the Beast nooch mixes. I just finished the garlic and bbq ones you had previously. These new ones look fantastic.
My wife just got me my mortar and pestle so I can be like Chef Derek when I grow up. It’s changed my cooking game significantly. I’ll definitely be adding nutritional yeast blends to my arsenal!
😎🏆♥️ And the award goes to…Derek and Miss Frankie! Awesome video and recipes for so many tasty ways to spice things up! Happy first day of Spring too! 🎉
Awesome video and fabulous nooch concoctions! Will definitely be adding these mixes to my spice cabinet. And Frankie always steals the show! Love her so much!❤ Thank you Chef!🙏💚🌱
My popcorn seasoning I cannot live without and make regularly and keep in a glass jar and uses nooch, a good amount of Aleppo pepper flakes, and I use a spice blend from Penzeys called Mural of Flavor (it has things like shallot, orange and lemon peel, pretty sure there's rosemary and coriander in there as well) because I love having it on hand to use in a pinch.
i really feel motivated trying this for myself after watching the video :D thank you! I also appreciate all the effort you went through to make us laugh / smile with the intro. i was thinking "the don is back" hahaha
These look amazing, and I can't wait to try them! I make a mixture with the nooch yeast, onion/garlic powders, salt, oregano, hemp seeds, and I add some cream of tartar to give it a tangy note that reminds me of parmesan cheese. I use this mixture for, you guessed it, pasta. But other delectables, too.
I am so grateful that I discovered you on RU-vid. Thank you for sharing your journey. Your videos are very entertaining, humorous sentimental and creative. I love every one I've seen. You have inspired me to do more and be better. Thank you ❤
😮 back again as promised. Got fresh yeast from Sprouts and made tofu tonight with BBQ beast. THE BEST . Husband ate 3 slices and we are getting more tofu tomorrow and fresh rolls for Sammie. Had tonight with acorn squash and crispy rice medley. Wonderful dinner. You're the best. Thank you. ❤
Your recipes are absolutely AMAZING! I’m going to make all 6 tomorrow and put the extra in pint jars for the shelf. One typo in the recipe I found is in Eggspired. Instead of 3 cups of the beast, it says 2 in the recipe. I’m following the video on that one. I can’t thank you enough!!!!
Request .. working hard on moving to all plant based. Can you talk about spices and how you purchase, organize and store them. I know this is a huge struggle for me. Thanks for the amazing videos!
I can't stop laughing. ohh it gets even better! thank you so much for these precious tips. definitely a game changer to keep on hand! writing this as we are eating one of your other fabulous recipes 😊. xoxo Frankie and award for best actress. the world is yours in reference to a healthier Montana :)
Ohhhh this is gold!!!! Wish I saw this before spending $12 on flavored nooch! Saved to my recipe playlist! I love that your pup keeps her glasses on! Mine would not tolerate it for a second! Thank you for sharing your wonderful creations!!!
I made something like one of these a few days ago and it keeps clumping together but if I had put in the starch.....would have been a good idea! I think I will make your recipes for these now. Thank you so much!
Oh I was so upset when the Wicked Rotisserie powder wasn't there in Tesco, I was going to beat down their door at HQ and demand it was back on the shelves. But you've saved the day with the gorgeous Frankie!!! Thank you sooo much ♥️♥️♥️♥️
Derek, I just made eggspired today. Eggcellent. Thanks, thanks, thanks, thanks, thanks. I chopped up 3 small zucchinis into small chunks, tossed them with a tablespoon of eggspired, and then airfried them at 400 for 15 min. with no oil. When they were finished, I put them in a bowl and dusted them with a bit more. Yummmmmmmmmmm. Oooooo what will I use this on tomorrow!!!
Here in the US any particular brand you recommend ? I apologize , 😂 hilarious ❤️❤️❤️ it ! You looked like a natural cutting the rails😂 Seriously thank you from the bottom of my stomach you have inspired me to create so many new dishes my family has no idea what veggies I have slipped by them by watching your videos ! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and love for mushrooms ! 🐝 ❤
Derek, you crack me up! That was such a wonderful video starring Ms. Frankie! "Brilliant work, must be watched to be fully appreciated, highly recommend!" (Movie Reviewer comments, lol!). Seriously, I have nooch and don't use it nearly as often as I should because I forget about it, so I am loving these seasonings! Looking forward to future videos showing how you are cooking with them. Thanks as always for the educational and inspirational video! ❣
Nooch can do that to a person ! Just ask Jon Stewart... Question: what is a good cooking program to learn to do serious vegan cooking? In addition to your videos of course
Thanks for watching. Big fan of @gazoakleychef and @saucestache has some innovative dishes. There are loads, if you know of actual chefs cooking vegan is who i want to find more of.
@@DerekSarnoChefLOVE Gaz and Mark! Wendy Garcia of Tumerico in Tucson AZ comes to mind, haven't been able to get there yet - it's not Michelin but they got #1 Yelp US Restaurant, her Jackfruit Carnitas is on YT but don't think she has a YT channel: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4kE6MhIxKyg.html
That's such a great idea to use nutritional yeast as a base for a spice blend - I LOVE nutritional yeast, but haven't tried anything like this. Will have to fix that!
thank you so much for giving the recipes for these spice mixtures. I would love to taste your food. Why did I just now come across your channel when you have been around for so much time? Thank God I did now!
I knew you looked too good not to be takin' the Juice' 😆😲- the old school video date on the top was not lost on all of us- I secretly miss my huge camcorder. Will be watching this again for the recipes and to see what other old school references I missed ! Hugs to the super star 🐾
GREAT video! 👍 I'm a nutritional yeast flakes-o-holic. I put that stuff on so many things -- like my salads, my tacos/burritos, on my homemade pizzas, in certain soups that I want to take on a "cheesy" flavor, on baked potatoes, and whatever else I think it would be good on or in. 😃
Awesome - love the do it yourself hacks, especially the ones that take your cooking to the next level 😁 Nooch is quite expensive in the stores (and comes in small tubs), how did you manage to get such a big bag of it 😯 Looking forward to your next videos 😎🐶🌱
I just made the egg seasoning. This was the bomb. When I found out you are a chief, I knew that you were going to take it to the next level. Now I have to buy more nutritional yeast to make the rest of your seasonings. Thank you!
