Hi Nate, hi friends. The most I would pay for this buffet would be $35 per person. Can you imagine a family of four going for breakfast at chef Mickey? You're looking at a bill of over $250 with tip. When we visited the contemporary resort, we looked at chef Mickey and it was empty. The price rate is just too high for a family for breakfast.

The Contemporary is a very cool resort with the monorail inside! Iconic! Chef Mickey seems to be doing better! The characters meals are always more expensive. It is typically about the experience not really about the food. Thanks Nate!

It’s fun seeing you hanging out with Gracie and trying fun things at home, like the soap dispenser and dog bed. It’s cool to see how theme park products actually work in everyday life, from the moment you buy them in a fun shop to testing them out. It would also be fun to see some short home vlogs mixed in where you hang out in your kitchen and make some fun theme park inspired snacks. As a southerner who was raised on biscuits and gravy, always cut the biscuit in half so that it’s thinner and increases the gravy to bread ratio! Alleviates the problem of dryness from too much biscuit per bite.

We stayed at the Contemporary last August and our first meal was at Chef Mickey's for the character breakfast. The buffet had not yet been reopened, so everything was brought to the table. We thought it was DELICIOUS and definitely worth the price for our family of 4. One of our daughters is a vegetarian and there were plenty of things for her to eat (she LOVED the Mickey waffles!). We are going back again next summer and we will definitely go back to Chef Mickey's for breakfast again. The food was great and you can't beat the fact that all of the characters come to your table for personal pictures. We were happy enough with that and didn't feel pressure to take tons of pictures with the characters in the park. A great experience and highly recommended!

if your a person like me and could care less about watching a bunch of people in costumes walking around, the price is really not worth it. For that much money you can feed a family of 4 and still have left overs. No child at the age of 3 is going to eat $33 worth of food.

We did this over this past Christmas with our 5 year old grandson and it was one of our favorite Disney memories of the trip. Not too concerned with the price since its not something we do all the time. They served us family style which was nice and the character interaction was great. Great memories were created!

Me and my family live in California & when our daughters were young & on a cheer competition team we used to go to Disneyland every year for the Jr. Nationals Cheer competition. Disneyland was our oldest daughter’s make a wish trip when she was 13 & battling cancer. We have a special place in our hearts for Disneyland. We have Goofy’s Kitchen there which you have probably already been to. Well worth the price to me! Cannot go to Disneyland & not visit Goofy’s Kitchen! We have never been to Disney World but watching your videos sure makes me want to go! Maybe we will see you there some day! Thanks for the fun video!

When using the soap dispenser place your hand under the pump but touching the "legs" around the Mickey head, then pump. It makes a perfect mickey that way.

Chef Mickey's was our very 1st character dining.... We LOVE it and are so excited the buffet is back and the DP' s... So so exciting As.for the price... If you plan it at around 11am you can catch the switch from breakfast to lunch and eat a bit more.... Then you really aren't hungry for the rest of the day... Great video...thank you Nate

Thanks for the video. I think that (51 bucks) is close to what I paid for character breakfast at goofy’s kitchen in California. Chef Mickey’s looks yummy. I have not been to chef Mickey’s, but I highly recommend goofy’s kitchen for breakfast if you are in Southern California. They have chilaquiles (it is like Mexican breakfast nachos-so good, as well as the chicken and waffles pizza, raspberry bars, omelets, Mickey waffles, etc (characters there are chip, dale, Pluto, goofy, and Minnie). For Mickey waffles, the best I ever had was at carnation cafe on Main Street in Disneyland. That Mickey waffle was top notch, decked out with powdered sugar, and sitting out on Main Street sipping coffee with a Mickey waffle is sweet.

Granted it was 2009 & 2012, but I loved Chef Mickey's food as we did both dinner & breakfast. Granted, we used the dining plan back then but I think the price is well worth it because you're guaranteed the characters to spend quality time & interact with you. Just like in California, where I always go to Goofy's Kitchen every trip. Every time I go, the characters help make amazing memories....and not just Goofy's, as I been to every Disneyland character meal & did almost all of them in WDW in 2009 & 2012.

The price is crazy...I don't see a lot of good quality protein (except the salmon), for this pric3e they should have a choice of freshly cooked beef and ham and chicken or turkey...It is basically the same old Disney bacon and sausages ...there is a lot of carbs items but these are cheap... I wouldn't pay more than $35 for this
