The key to making a high-quality consommé is boiling the ingredients for a minimum of 4-6 hours so that the juices from the meat and mire poix are absorbed as they are absorbed and come to the surface where we can filter them out. so Chef Paul has to use instant seasoning so it can be done quickly without the knowledge of the guest contractor.

I hope the guest contractor didn't realise something is Completely differentfrom the main dish. Because some of The asian including me, probably know some of the ramen product that we're just consume, including sweet drink. The guest maybe don't know the process, but if i was the chef and that guest say something to me and start boldly criticizing the food...., Guest: "Did you put some ramen Seasoning packet in this soup?!" Me: "*terrified A F*" Guest: "it just some boiled vegetable and some ramen seasoning!!" Me: "im terribly sorry sir, but our crew mistaken the soup so badly.... " Guest: "then why dont you check and prepare it earlier?!?!" You Know My pride would be destroyed along with the rest of the crew😊

@@raysadatolimbo3127the setting play big part in perception of taste, serve one soup in a cheap place people will say it's simple and cheap. Serve exact soup in a fancy place with flourish and they will believe it's completely different and complex and expensive.

WARNING, SPOILER ALERT OF THIS PARTICULAR SCENE: The guy watching in background behind sabotaged the soup to give bad name to this famous chef. The little girl in video is actually severely allergic to Shrimp. And he added Shrimp to soup while preparing it. That's why the soup was thrown immediately.

@@dkdrock456 Well, its another spoiler. So Spoiler alert, dont read further if anyone doesn't want to spoil the plot. The father paid the chef lots of money to get a tasty meal course. But later we found out that this guy is in insane debt, and this was his last final meal for all 3. After this meal was over, father shot her wife, daughter and then kills himself. Of course the little girl wasn't aware of anything.

Watching this scene the first time was so distressing as if we were in the chef's head. Seeing him pour tap water for soup I was like "WTF?" and imagining all sorts of explanations, like "this soup tastes too fancy, this family need a more modest one" 😂 I guess in some parts of the developed world where tap water is drinkable people won't be as shocked

Movie could’ve been so good but there’s so much things that don’t make sense. The family suicide?? Seems like there’s more to it then nothing. People liking chefs cooking in a almost supernatural way then nothing. Main character love interest quit then started his own business without even saying or showing anything it just happens?? Was so confused to see him another apron like what I thought he found new job but nope business owner. The meat theft thing making it seem like it was other chef and nothing? Ending chef gets arrested and it’s so anticlimactic because it seems like there’s more but nope.

Yeah, it was a little tough if you weren’t looking for the signs but you can tell by her body language throughout the meal, her silence and the way she looks down half the time. I don’t remember if she ever says anything in the scene but knowing how much her husband paid for Chef to make their meal was pretty crazy (spoiler)

Context: old dude in the background made the stock of the soup at another kitchen with shrimp intentionally but didnt tell anyone. He was trying to poison the little girl who was allergic to shrimp. As old dude was jealous of being verlooked by the chef since the chef made the skinny girl who had no experience, as the lead chef for this job. He tried to sabotage her, really fucked up
