11th in the league, former Spurs manager, team full of youngsters, no recruitment staff from any top clubs. This is all on the owners. The sheer ego it takes to rip up a team and make drastic, ridiculous changes in such a short time is mind-boggling. I want everyone to ask this question: Did the owners HAVE to make these changes? Couldn't they just make small adjustments in key areas and keep everything else the same? I can't find any way to be optimistic. Yes, we got to a cup final, but the fact that we could not score 1 goal against Liverpool's C team is just embarrassing.

Gallagher was immense. I feel bad for the abuse he'll get for his finishing when he's made goal saving blocks and interceptions countless times in this game, which is basically his purpose. Now if we look at Madueke, Mudryk, Sterling and Nkunku, players whose actual job is based on attacking, i'd say they've completely fluffed it.

You should have won in 90 mins, the big issue for Chelsea should be what happened in extra time, were they out on their feet? did they panic? - it was honestly weird seeing them being dominated with the midfield Liverpool had out - either way big negative for Poch as to what happened
