I am a Napoli supporter a I missed to much Mr Sarri. I watched the first two matches of Chelsea and saw only flashes of his game. It takes time for all to assimilate his game patterns. The defensive phase is still uncertain but it was the same in Naples at the beginning. If the players will follow him without doubts and hesitation you'll be surprised about the magnificent of the Chelsea Game. He doesn't need top players but just good players able to follow him. Good luck Chelsea..I'll follow your team much more this year.
Luca Terranova Thank you you're always welcome in Chelsea :) I was watching most Napoli's games the last 2-3 seasons. Out of all Serie A, Napoli was the team I watch the most. Mainly because Sarri and also because of Mertens. This year the football is changing (Ancelotti), but I still support Napoli and I hope they can beat Juve from the throne!
Luca, really good, same here, I am even in Chelsea whatsapp groups. Apart from smoking is a life master. Defensive phase? Well NOBODY noticed that after he smoked 3 cigarettes between the first and second half he gave new directions to the game, and from the 46th was already everything improved. In Naples we were used to assist to the 46th minute miracle really often. Is a man that does not leave nothing by chance, although he show in Chelsea a low profile, and in Naples a rude profile, the reality is he want to mask even to himself his high intellectual profile. Bright mind. Will follow him everywhere( maybe except in one black and white shirt team).
the first 35 mins was actually amazing to watch it felt like old times when we had mata Oscar and hazard. Also when hazard and kovacic came on they changed the game
Luck For me it took me to that tiny window when Guus Hiddink came on for the first time. We were unplayable in those 3 - 5 months. We played that unforgettable CL game against Barcelona with that c**t of referee Tom Henning Overbo (will never forget how he robbed us).
Solomon Festus - That was far from a magnificent performance. If Arsenal took their chances in the first half (which were harder to miss than score) we would've definitely lost this game... The defending and pressure were very poor in the last 15mins of the second half...

I don't understand why everyone talks about Arsenal's chances like we didn't create any good ones ourselves. Cech saved brilliantly from Barkley's effort, Morata's 1st half shot, Kante's header, Giroud on two occasions....I mean if everyone took their chances as well, the score would end around 8-4 for Chelsea
maybe if Chelsea did manage to aim the ball a few centimetres away from Cech's hands, then it would have been 8-2 to Chelsea. Seriously though, enough with the "sitter" excuses which were skyed into orbit. At the end of the day, Chelsea took their chances were as arsenal didn't.

I'm Napoli fan and I really love Sarri as mister, as a person, as Napolitan. I wish you, that you can see the true system of game of Sarri, but you must have a lot of patience, more time you will give him, more your team will play to the best, to memory, in automatic, a true war machine. After 3 years Napoli has reached the maximum one, succeeding to competing even if for few time, against the corrupt system of the series A and against the Juventus. This Chelsea team surprised me in a great way, i think Sarri has got it right so yes why should not challenge for the league even if i understand it will take time for Sarri to get the team playing his way, today was outstanding!

I think they just need to learn how to put pressure on the opponent as a team, cuz Arsenal exposed that at times and other teams will try to do the same now...
Kovacic was brilliant today. As a Madrid fan, I am happy he's getting a chance in a team like Chelsea and I have a feeling he might start playing regularly soon. In all honesty, Hazard needed a quality attack-minded midi-fielder that can support him and create openings they can capitalize on, and that's exactly what Kovacic provides, and of course it's also good that he defends well and can play well alongside Kante.
I thought we were awesome attacking yesterday, much better distribution & fluidity from the team, but Sarri going to look at his defensive tactics. It was quite sublime football in the first 25mins, keep up the good work Maurizio.
Itzfreeboy lucky Liverpool are not hard people just stop the front three people make it complicated but it’s easy just stop there offence. Man City we don’t need to beat them but it’s nice if we can. we just need to hope someone else does the dirty work for us

I like Sarri's assessment. He doesn't sugar coat anything.. it is what it is chelsea has to improve.. after 2 games i do see the improvement, imagine after 2 months. We should be able to challenge for the epl title next season. As of for this season is to battle for that champions league spot
He seems like a very honest manager which is good. We got bit lucky that arsenal missed some easy chances might not be so lucky next time so yes must improve on our defense.

it is still not a Sarri's team. It takes time to learn how to actually play like Napoli in last season. But Chelsea is packed with excellent and smart players, and if they follow Sarri's lead, they are going to be competitive on all fronts, Champions League included.
i agree but Jorginho is better for the current set up, Kante created the most chances in the whole match, Kante is there so our Right side won't get exploited unlike our left side
Kante was surprisingly good at going forward, he created a lot of chances and was close to head the ball in and he was big help in pressing game too with Pedro so I like to see Kante in this role again
It was wonderful match. But Kante must not play that forward...he clearly had better chances than Morata, Pedro and Willian combined...he should help the defence more

We were much better at moving the ball much quicker that last week more like we were in preseason hopefully that continues but we don't want to face a team like Liverpool at this moment because we will be exposed defensively. We were fortunate that Arsenal were poor in front of goal could of easily been 5-2 to them at the end of the first half we didn't pick up any of their blindside runs into the box on the right and the left side looks shaky defensively
Vick JR I'm not to sure about those fixtures being favourable Newcastle have players like Perez,Ritchie and Shelvey that can hurt us and a capable coach in Benitez that will be watching the tapes from our last 2 games just like Emery watched the game against Huddersfield and exploited or weakness on the left side defensively and the fact that we are use zonal marking in our own box by having his players making late runs into the box from the right knowing no 1 would be tracking the runs
Plebmeister the attack isn’t just made up of the striker. Benzema isn’t a huge threat to teams but Real Madrid won everything in the game with him. When you have players like hazard and Willian and even the full backs and Jorginho the attack is lethal. Surely 6 goals in 2 games is an example of that.
Playing Kante this way means we will concede many goals this season ....Playing high always is going to hurt us when we play against very fast attackers....Teams who are ready to sit back will hit us hard!!Good we won but defensively we were poor....
Sarri doesn't like to sit back and defend, he would rather put pressure on the opponents and not let them have the ball at all. Which is what City are doing with Pep...If done right, it can be very efficient...(My point is Kante can only excel once we learn how to put pressure on the opponent as a team and not only a couple of players)
