I like sesko, bro, but regarding the st profile, we need absolutes. we dont have guaranteed goals from anyone in the squad bar nkunku and hes hella injury prone. sesko is a work in progress as it regards to his finishing but hes a fantastic athlete and going to end up a better all round cf than osimhen but if we needed an all round cf we already have two of them at the club. What we dont have is an elite aerial striker and a consistent poacher-esque threat. sesko aint fully there (hes tall sure) yet but osimhen is world class aerially and one of the most dogged chance biters in the world. as for jackson hes likely never going to attain a high level at poaching or aerially so the need for that profile in the squad overrides his great capabilities. besides it would really help us with set pieces from both ends and maximize the great crossing at the club.

We do need a striker, because while we can score goals we need someone to push us over the line when we really need it, and Jackson ain't that guy. Does it have to be Osimhen, not necessarily, someone like Gyokeres, Toney or Gimenez would be suitable, but I do think he is definitely the best option, you want the best players, you gotta pay the premium. No to Sesko, he's been in great form recently, but first it's in the Bundesliga, second, it's end of the season form, which is what we bought Jackson on the back of, and third, because of this form his release clause has increased meaning he's no longer a cheap punt that we might drop lucky with. If the release clause rises to the 70m figure, then he has to be worth it, and I can't see it. Also he's 20 compared to Osimhen and Gyokeres who are both 25, and league winners. You want an experienced striker, there you are.

These comments are so stiff smh…everyone’s fixated on osimhen or sesko💀we should look for strikers that have put up 15+ goals a season for the past 4-5 seasons aka Toney or Watkins…its difficult to grab watkins bc of how good villa are doing but toney is attainable and if we do want a European experienced striker we shld look for gyokeres who is a brute of an attacker at 6’2 and 85-90kg-he would bully prem defences. Sesko looks good but is slow and lacks intelligence/experience and osimhen is great but looks gangly and easily breakable by prem defences
