I gotta keep it real, some of the comments I’m seeing today have made me scratch my head, so, imma explain it clearly It’s my personal opinion that I wouldn’t go for this, I seperate my personal opinions from whatever the point or news is, I’m very transparent when it’s my opinion and when it isn’t I’ve been doing this videos for years, obviously if he’s close to signing, I’ll have to make one now Does a viewer wanna listen to my biased take on a player they just wanna get info on and nothing else? Probably not. My personal take, will be separated Regardless if I want someone or not, this is an analysis vid. No way any of you would rate me, if i didn’t keep vids like this objective I know, the temperatures increasing a lot these days, maybe this explains why too many of you are missing the point in the comments. It's just slapping a band-aid on to soothe the pain. I don't really like when we try to paint over cracks with optimism and when it doesn't work we then realize that the wrong decisions have been made. Is KDH an upgrade on the level of midfielders we have? NO! We can make ourselves feel good about it now but come November/December we're cussing out the player, the manager and the heirachy that brought them in 🙄

Nini i see him as a Jorginho signing, Sarri brought the player the made his System thick in order to have a faster impact.. To be honest I'd Rather have Hall here and Get rid of This other guy we have a squad player, ammm oguchukwu... He isn't the type of Player we need right now.. He occupied a Spot that should have been Handed to Santos last season.. i go no beef with Hall but we didn't necessarily have to go after him.. but If he makes the System Tick faster for the others to come up to speed then.. ill welcome him to the club.. Most managers bring players who already understand there philosophy, with them to new clubs its easier to get reaults faster.. So if he's coming am willing to see this kid play Ball before i judge him.

Don't mean to dogpile or anything but the one thing that makes me grumpy with all these takes that everybody has is, they keep calling him a midfielder. Looking at his defensive stats on fbref, he really wasn't that much of a midfielder for Leicester City last season. He was a number ten in all but name and suggesting otherwise because he's nominally a number 8 feels a bit inaccurate. Likewise, whatever he is, he isn't the replacement for Gallagher. Gallagher is a ~six foot guy with a solid tackle that uses physicality to compensate for his lack of technique. KDH is a ~5'8 nibbler type. Also, I have to say that I worry quite a lot that if KDH is going to take that central number 10 then that would seem to shift Nkunku and Palmer to being wingers. And Maresca's system is not one that uses attacking fullbacks for width. The outside left and outside right positions in the front 5 are held by the two wingers who are thus not permitted the same freedom to find room in the half-spaces. Are we effectively sacrificing Nkunku and Palmer just to cater to "the system"? One curveball that I haven't really considered much, but frankly it might be worth doing so, is what if KDH was actually inteded as the outside left winger? Let's face it, Mudryk and Sterling have managed to come somewhat short of being spectacularly impressive. One thing that speaks against this is that KDH's number of take-ons last season wasn't that high, but he is pretty good on the ball and a very decent crosser, and what's more important, he's poised on the ball. Calm but not sleepy, alert but not jittery. If that's the idea, I just might be a fan.

I just call him a mid as thats where hes played across his career, he gets used in different roles depending on what the manager asks from him Just because Maresca found a way to optimisie him for his positional play, for me doesnt mean that i should ignore the rest of his game time in his career I say he's an 8 as a lot of that threat comes from carrying from deep to instigate play, compared to already operating higher up the field and playing back to goal I completely agree, i don't understand the use when nkunku thrives their, alongside Palmer. It works if the rb gets pushed advanced, and the lb inverts into mid Players get forced to play anywhere by managers, there more adaptable than we give them credit for, KDH played across a variety of roles in mid over his career, before thriving in a more advanced role I see why Maresca likes him, he can hold the lw at times if the lw inverts, maintaining the positioning of the team, he isnt a winger style player because he can carry, but, hes someone useful that can provide danger when hes carrying from deep and making runs wide when moves depend on it I just made this video to give an objective lense on what his strengths are and what he can do, but in seperate vids, i gave my opinion, and even tho he's decent, i just dont understand the neccessity for his signing, i thought Nkunku and Palmer are your guys their

@@BlueLionsTVNiiNiiFC Sorry if it felt like I'm coming at you. Not the intention. Just growling a bit at the whole thing, I suppose. But regarding KDH, if you look at his midfield play as an ordinary 8 in the Prem, it was decent but not spectacular. A bit Billy Gilmour, I feel like. What sets KDH apart is last season where his role and his responsibilities shifted forward a lot. The term "midfielder" does not really describe that. The way I see it, he's doesn't really offer the same kind of skills as Caicedo, Enzo, Lavia, even Gallagher. And what they don't do that KDH does, at the level that he does it, is something rarely asked of a regular midfielder. Maybe that's just me, though. And your video is fine, by the way. Don't feel bad about it. I think it's just a weird time to be a Chelsea fan, and it near impossible to make sense of what is happening. I suspect that's driving people nuts.

Looks like a good player but Enzo or Caicedo aren’t gonna be dropped to accommodate him, so were does he play?? Or is he a rotational player and back up if there are injuries, or does someone else get dropped for him to play, maybe if we sell Gallagher ( which looks likely ) he takes his spot. We actually don’t really need to buy to many players because if everyone was fit it would be hard to get everyone onto the pitch and some very good players would be starting games on the bench

If we aren't making any additional attacking signings, then sure, you can have KDH and Carney as attacking 8s, Palmer and Madueke at RW, Sterling and Mudryk at LW, and Jackson and Nkunku as CF, but it would just make more sense to get either a CF or a winger and shift Cole to an attacking 8 and possibly Nkunku to the wing. KDH also makes no sense as a signing beyond this one season because we have Paez and Estevao coming in next summer who we clearly think are better options.

There's no need trying to make the signing of Dewsbury Hall make sense cause it doesn't, he's average at best. We already have midfielders better than him at the club, and we claim to want to compete at the highest level imagine the type of players we are going for, no wonder City won the league consecutively, City won't sign a Dewsbury Hall neither will Arsenal, Liverpool even Man U, playing for Leicester City is entirely different from playing for Chelsea.

All aboard the hype train. Planning is so poor. Kellyman for £20m Paez in 12 months, Chukwuemeka, Gallagher, Santos, Casadei, already at the club, and thats without even looking at Palmer playing as an 8. Honestly the business we do is so contradictory. If we ended up with Olise, would that have meant Palmer was going to be used centrally? Transfer ban would actually save us from ourselves at this point.

In my opinion I stopped hyping players that much until they’ve played for Chelsea and are able to do similar things for Chelsea like they did at their clubs. This guy is got good passing ability to feed wingers! But we will wait and see.

To be fair I don’t hate it but it’s not particularly exciting but then again we are here to win not to make exciting purchases. He’s left footed and forward thinking, coming into his prime and has premier league experience so he ticks a lot of boxes for a decent price aswell. Not as exciting as a zubimendi or an ederson but I don’t hate it. Give the kid a chance I think he’s going to do well
