Hey look, its the jays being upset that people have free speech. Is there anything worse than a contractor who takes your money, and does half the job?
@@dablasit Often it is the hosts job to set up the joke or story that the guest has to tell. Conan brought up the Golden Globes so that she could tell her story/joke about the old lady on the plane. Still, she did an impressive job at making it seem natural.
A lot of comics try new material on talk shows that they develop into longer jokes for future material and the host leads the conversation to an intro for the material they want to try.
One of the best talk shows I've seen was Dutch: De Wereld Draait Door (The World Keeps Turning) was on every weekday evening, with a huge variety of topics and guests, and a host who made it all happen without making himself the focus. Of course you had to understand Dutch, but that's not a problem for Dutch people and some others.
well, chelsea had already appeared in Parks and Rec, i dont quite remeber if april was with ron in the scene, but yes i guess they've met. AND chelsea has written for parks also
I've always loved her profile. I understand why a person would be self-conscious about having a nose that doesn't conform to traditional Western expectations of beauty, but I think she looks great.
Chelsea is amazing. She has this great down to earth, self deprecating humour while at the same time this confidence and charm. Also, her stand up is so good, the way she can deliver a joke with dead pan humour is admirable.
Don't mean to jump on the bandwagon but she is really something. Most guests even famous ones can be quite boring at the beginning, but she draws you in from the very start with her unassuming personality, and on her first talk show.
@@Blackfeet please she was the worse character proven by the fact the majority of the fans were happy when her character was taken off the show including me. WOrst Character Ever.
Conan was so mesmerized by her comedic nature that he didn't even throw in to keep from being outclassed. I don't blame him. It was just too fun to watch.
Yep but a good scientists wouldn't care less. It's strange how much of a pedestal celebrities are on these days, they are effected by this sort of trolling because they don't do much of actual worth. They are just popular, meanwhile scientists are actually contributing and focus on that rather than image.
I mean you've seen bullying or been bullied right? What's up Jew-Fro once is benign. Now at somepoint people straight up calling you that all the time and undermining anything you do just for that one name is a different story and is why cyberbullying is a thing.
Her stint on NPR late last year was very entertaining. She didn't have that entitled "I'm a celebrity - put me on a pedestal" attitude, but gabbed away like a regular, very relatable person.
I can clearly see the writers of Brooklyn Nine Nine didn't need to put too much effort in creating a character for her,. It's like Goor and Schur just tells her to start talking whenever they're taping.. I love Gina soooo much! 😂
Talking on someone's imperfections don't make you a troll. And of course no one is perfect. Trolls are people who are mean and make fun of people online for fun. They don't have a good reason, they just think it's funny to be mean.
Listen, I hear that she’s self-conscious about her nose but listen! Mine looks exactly the same/probs a little bigger and at least she makes it work 🙌🏻
Check out her special on Netflix, "One of the Greats". She kills. I've watched it about 5 times now because she just nails my deadpan kind of humor. She is a true smartass and knows how to cut right through the pretenses that exist in society today and then make fun of them. And like all great comedians, she has a lot of self-deprecating humor. You also get a sense of how intellectual she can be, but she never shows it in a self-important kind of way.
Lol!! Omg, I can relate so much. I hate my profile, and I’m always self conscious when people view me at that angle. 🤣 It’s cool she’s able to make light of hers. She’s so beautiful and funny!
