Before every match that Mudryk is supposed to play Younes comes and says it is his last chance. Mudryk plays and has very good impact, he comes and says he was either bad or ok and next game same story. Younes are you sure you watch the same matches as we do? If that ball that Mudryk crossed to Nkunku was Sancho you would be killing yourself. English bias always kicks in with these English fans.
I think more than this is in clubs interest, imagine Christensen,Rüdiger, Courtois situation , everyone hated the situation, managers kept playing them, I completely support club here, be a part of the club and show commitment
I am a Panathinaikos fan and a Chelsea fan. Panathinaikos does not have the budget. The budget gap is enormous. In paper Chelsea should win game easily
Bravo YTF, love your humor. We NEED 2 b on the Ark!!! Btw Panathanaikos used to b one of my teams. I remember when they shocked Ajax (defending CL Champs) in SFs 1995/96 season in Amsterdam. Unf they lost return leg in Greece 0-3 ...
Big up to younes! Before this game it was our biggest test in the prem against Liverpool. Which we barely lost. Now in the conference league it's our hardest game which we need to win to get back some momentum for us when we face Newcastle twice! Regarding younes question imo i rather have an ownership that's knows what they want & hire the perfect people to run the club & not yes-men! 😂
Younes you ar talking like Mudryk is starting a CL final😂 Like cmon you have said the exact same thing for games now and he did well last game but you cant seem to see it
I think Disasi will play right back...I think he did in our last conference league game.Casadei has been good the games he played so I'm not so scared to see him play
To answer your question I think the best way forward is having a coach rather than a manager and a director responsible for recruitment, but only if they work together to a respectable degree. Also I feel with the new way football is going we'll be seeing a lot of previous managers step into a director role or even players going for a directors role rather than being a manager. Look a klop and the likes of P.S this would be a positive for some managers out there who are lacking in tne coaching department but have a great eye for talent such as Lampard
I feel like Casadei hasn't been played in his best position, his best qualities are not highlighted. Casadei isn't a 6, he's very B2B. He's got a good eye for goal + long shots.
Coach is best, of course with input into transfer decisions. Some managers have awful talent ID and leave teams hamstrung to overpaid, subpar player after they're gone (ex. Sterling). The days of all or none decisions is gone. The dreaded 'collaboration' is the model going forward across football and most sports for that matter.
Am okay with the way things are going in the Club, Enzo Maresca knew what he was walking to and he is okay with it 👌🏻 also i don't think Maresca is sad about not being able to pick the 3rd choice RB
Head coach is the way to go...Head coaches have a say too...but not to the level of managers...The manager/Head coach's tenure may end anytime ...but the club is the club, can't change ownership that easily.
4:15 I’ll give my opinion on this Younes. To be a ‘full-time Manager’, with financial fair play and everything being meticulously transactional nowadays in terms of transfers and salaries and so on, I can understand to a certain extent why the gaffer doesn’t have his say on everything in the market. Back in the day, the only one who had control from top to the bottom of the club in terms of transfers was Sir Alex Ferguson but back there a two things to take into account : - Sir Alex Ferguson earned the trust of the club for over 2 decades. - financial fair play wasn’t as pinpointed back then. I think the manager has to leave his print on the team and have control over the team. But the Josh Acheampong situation seems like a financial issue where Chelsea don’t want to miss out. So even though I believe the coach should have control on the team, this goes over the aspect of football where it could hurt Chelsea financially on the long term, so I understand the clubs decision here. They’re trying to get something out of the situation. I believe that a coach should get his players in the transfer window, but in accordance to the financial situation of the club, I don’t want us to end up with a transfer ban or in a Man City situation. On the long term, with knowledge gained of the ins and outs of management and financial side of the club, the coach should gain more power with the results he’s getting. Just like Guardiola at city you might say.
For the Manager v Head coach situation; I think football has evolved such that it’s practically very difficult to be a manager now. 1. Much larger squads -25-30 players to manager. 2. Frequency of games - Priority will always be preparing for games and speaking to players. With extra travel as well, there is almost no time for meeting with the directors and scouts.
The boys need to put a world class perfomance since the first team failed to beat liverpool is about time maresca made a few changes into the first team
Because of one game,is that how you do your own coaching, you want him to bring in who exactly, Felix I guess the beautiful nonsense player or who exactly, Nkunku can't press as much as Jackson so who else,Neto just run for running sake, can't take on players like madueke does
You are talking like we lost to Southampton. Our history with Liverpool games at anfield is not great and maresca has only been here for 2 months, so why are you marking this as a big deal?
From a managerial standpoint for training/development and game performance it’s best the manager is hands off with the nitty gritty details. With this bloated of a depth chart, he needs to find a base squad that plays a high level consistently and he’s done that. Only becomes a problem when the scouting department goes rogue signing names or players that don’t fit the gameplan of that manager
No Felix is criminal, and i also just think youre wrong, Felix will be starting, i just dont know why you dont think hes going to play? He sat the whole game against liverpool, so i guarntee Felix starts as he should!!
the problem with giving the coach the keys to transfers is that most coaches want to bring players they've worked with before which means maresca will want to bring most of his Leicester city players which will definetly cause a drop of level in the team as a whole i'd rather let the club give him one player that meresca can pick per year and assess his talent id
It's best to have a vision from the top, and get everyone on board the same vision. No division and throwing each other under the bus.. Talented team players that support each other.
Younes, Sam Rak's name is not pronounced Sayi. It is a Ghanaian surname and it is pronounced as Say-Chee(almost like say cheese, but without the 'se'). Thanks for trying though😂
Cucu and Fofana will be rested for weekend, so they'll get at most 45 mins. So probably Cucu/Veiga and Fofana/Tosin 45 mins each. Enzo's minutes will be interesting. If he gets close to 90 minutes then he has lost his PL spot to Lavia. Badiashile, Disasi, Nkunku, Felix, Neto, Mudryk and KDH definitely start. These guys are seniors, they must get game time or they'll ask to leave. We'll probably not see Chilwell again. I think the team picks itself for most positions. GK Jorgensen LB Veiga/Cucu 45 mins each CB Fofana/Tosin 45 mins each CB Badiashile RB Disasi DM Enzo DM KDH CAM Felix LW Mudryk ST Nkunku RW Neto Carney, Casadei and Guiu probably will come on as subs.
The “old system” is much more better than the “new” one, why? Well, it’s just because when the main team’s man has involved in almost every aspect of the team/club issues the more it’s make him to have responsibility, it’s also gives him a sense of being a big man there another word that the gruffer becomes as an “owner” making him to create tight bonds with not only squad members but to a club as whole
I prefer the Head Coach approach... Managers get too personally involved with players and it makes them biased. With the Head Coach arrangement, the Coach is still remotely involved. After all, we all know that KDH was brought in by Maresca.
Leave Sanchez in Greece. Sancho, please start shooting. Madueke, this is your last opportunity, or NATO will start in the Premier League. I haven't seen Enzo's true talent yet, and we all know what he is capable of. It's a good time for him to play and show his strengths. With this traveling defense, I can’t see us keeping a clean sheet. If Nkunku scores a couple of goals, it will make it difficult for Enzo Meresca to choose our striker.
reason for the shift from managers to coaches is that club have to make long term investment on players 5 to 9 years. but managers/coaches come and goes. so you can't sign players base on what the managers want as you don't know how long that manager will last. Clubs will sign profile of players that they believe are good, then they will sign managers that can utilise these types of players. that's clearly Chelsea's strategy.
Mudryk has played well recently, he made an assist against gent , an assist against barrow, a magnificent cross For nkunku who should have scored against nottingham forest , that would have been 3 assists in his last 4 games , isn't that progress ?
I believe we could try at some point with two strikers, like Inter is currently playing with Lautaro and Thuram. We do have the players to try different combinations in that format.
I am always gonna back my club over a player so whether it’s football directors or coach it’s all about decisions are correct. I don’t really care who makes them because coaches come and go just like a lot of players. i’d rather to have a club image than manager image.
For me a good sporting director could bypass all of the issues we might be experiencing, if we were on the same page from the jump i think things work better that way even in cases where we might sack the manager as long as the next appointment is not different in terms of playing style.
Younce keeps praising players for his emotion thought.mudrik was better on the last game he came in (notigham)than neto( Liverpool) then neto shouldn't be compared to madueke.thats 'fineso'.madueke is a game changer
Which one is better? You have Ten Haag who for 2 years hired whatever crap player he wants and we see the result. You have a world class manager like Tuchel who wanted the opposite and we know what he has achieved. I make it simple for you Younes: Imagine you are the national team's coach like Tuchel. Can you decide and go get Neymar for England? Nope! You work with what you have. Club managers should also learn that. Work with what you have or leave the job if you don't like it.
If our wingers don’t start picking it up some I wanna see this tried out….but it would involve us overlapping our full backs more often in the game ………………………Jackson ………nkuku ……………………Palmer ……Lavia…….Enzo……Caicedo Cruc….Colwill….Fofana….James
Interesting, but I don't see that happening. Maresca believe in a system and repetition to deepening the understanding and chemistry amongst the players.
It’s a balance cause you also don’t want a conte like situation where you have to spend multiple seasons transitioning the team cause the new manager wants to play a different style. Style and direction coming from the club is a bit easier
A club is both for football and for business. So both aspects are vital. I support the clubs approach to the present saga. The young man should focus on his football now than on money. I like head coach.
Totally agree Disasi should not be sniffing the pitch at RB. I agree with your XI besides Carney pretty much, I just have a feeling KDH is gonna play over him even tho KDH < Carney as a footballer imo. The MF balance of the lineup whether Carney or KDH starts is pretty shit tbh but should be fine against this opposition. I’m going 3-1 Chels (Nkunku/Felix/Neto on the score sheet)
No need of wasting Cucurella's energy. KDH will play 90+ mins for sure and Carney won't start for obvious stupid reasons. Felix will play for sure coz he has not played any mins for 4 weeks
I don't think we should play Enzo. Let Casadei and KDH get a chance. Enzo can start the Cup Match. I also don't prefer Disasi as a right back, but I am sure he will start, though.
Our B team has been playing better than our A team..They seem to understand the manager's system better...yes the opposition is weaker but you can only what's in front of you
If wa Enzo (manager) would use this to try diffent form. Go bsxk to 3/4/3: CBS- Badis/Tosim/Disadi; LWB- Viega, RWB- Cucu: MF pivot - Carney/Casadei, front 3 - Felix, Nkuku, Pedro .
Félix is not effective out on the wing. If you look at his career heat map, yes he tends to stick more often to the left, but in a roaming 10 role. He’s good in tight spaces, because of his technical ability. Speed is not a strong point of his.
@@atiwatope enlighten me as to what I was wrong about please 😂 I’ve been watching Felix his whole career. Even today, he’s not playing as a winger, he’s playing exactly as I said so I don’t know what you’re implying but feel free to explain.
For me it’s the manager who should identify the players he wants and play the players he wants. The board should not interfere just put the money up to buy who the manager says. If it goes wrong then the board step in. UTC
@@HenryNuel-k9k That’s up to the board to get the right coach in the first place. It worked for Alex Ferguson, Pep, Carlo, and many others. Let’s get it straight, we are a top club and our standards demand the best manager. The best managers make the odd mistake but not to the extent that the whole thing fails!
When you get managers with total control it's great when they are the right fit, but when you lose that manager for whatever reason, your team is completely lost. Look at Fergie and Man U. Puts club in too much of a vulnerable position
Am furious, irritated on how Chelsea is treating players regarding contract or when linked to exit.Chilwell is supposed to play as he has a contract.Acheapong can't be freezed if he has not yet signed contract extension.Chelsea Managers must be responsible not giving Maresca horns to bullying players. Let a player leave the club amicably.
Its a big test this game and will be no surprise if we lose lets be real as CHELSEA are NOT back, Badiashille & Mudryk I give up on, and until Maresca starts admitting Sanchez and our CBs are weak and a liability I cant trust him in the League
Disagree this will be the hardest. A long mid December trip out to Kazakhstan playing on a frozen pitch won't be easy at all. Astana away will be toughest test if you ask me. This one tomorrow will be an easy W.
If u let managers pick players they want u end up like united who have the biggest bag of sh*t I've ever seen. Or another example was tuchel when he was with us he had the club bring in koulibaly aubameyang and sterling
Younes stop playing games, forget about Madueke, Mudrik and Reese James.....did you see my boy Raphinia banging that hat trick? Ohh that was supreme! Take that Mr.TT, Uncle Jose and don carlo! Go Barca! Barca in the final with City! Maresca where you at?? Camavinga where you at? Hit them with the trash can Pep!
