Maresca had a very successful stint as Manchester City's EDS coach, raising talents like Lavia and Palmer. He wasn't dreadful at Parma and took Leicester through an injury hit season to win arguably the most competitive Championship season in years playing a very compact and defined style which enables stability defensively. Give him a chance to manifest his ideas and blend the youth to achieve success. All we want is success for Chelsea.

Leceister had 4 injuries the whole season what are you on about . And he was sacked at parma after a disaster class. He nearly bottled a 17 points gap . He will most likely struggle at chelsea

@@bilabijoseph5030 5 losses in 14 games over a 6 month period is hardly a disaster my friend. Potter was 11 losses in 31 games over 7 months. Who was worse? Even Poch had just a 50% win over a season (Maresca had 40% at Parma and 67% at Leicester). Back the man and see the positives

That is 29% ffs!!! Maresca had 29% win ratio, by far worse than Potter's and Pochetino's! A total failure! Go back to your maths lessons bro!! What I don’t understand is that why everyone wants to emulate the City and Pep’s model. The frustrating part is that this is happening to club with a big stature like Chelsea. I mean Chelsea won more UCL than City hence it’s mind boggling when they are trying to emulate something that they’re not. Not just Chelsea unfortunately Bayern is also in the process of getting another Pep’s disciple in Kompany. Pep’s model maybe great on paper but it’s not the only way to win. I mean I would prefer Ancelotti’s or Zidane’s method rather than Pep’s tactical dictatorship.

I'll wager that the players actually want more structure. They'd happily trade some attacking freedom for more defensive solidity. They finished 5 points behind Villa. A less porous defence would have seen them possibly make 4th place.

The same Palmer he raised in the EDS? Lol. You are all just being negative for no reason. Poch couldn't structure a side capable of beating low block defensive teams, and that caused us points. Apparently, Enzo is an upgrade in this regard and we should look towards a more solid display from the first team.

What blueprint. PG is supported by a deeply well run organization who have deep pockets and would never have a squad of young talented but inexperienced players. PG tells his SF what he needs, the player profile and they present the options to him. So not sure what blueprint he is supposed to follow. Next season isn't going to be boring is it... 😂
