I really need to come to the Island. The murals are amazing.

That little ferry at the beginning, I've taken that ferry as a walk on passenger at least hundred times in my life as I did a year of bible school in 08/09 school year over on Thetis Island, which is 1 of 2 islands that ferry leads to. The other island Kuper is entirely First Nations owned and we were told that it was "invite only" and if you came over they either wouldn't let you off the ferry or if you did get off they'd take you back on one of their own boats because they didn't want strangers on their island. I don't know how accurate this story is, it's just what I was told back then. Chemainus is such a quaint little town and I love everything about it. Agreed, the candy shop is fantastic
