I think I’m the only person who recognize the sample from Dark Side of the Moon, in the intro, before the music starts, there are sounds of clocks, heart beat and people saying things. One man says: “I’ve always been mad”. The Chemical Brothers got that phrase and put it in Lost in the Key Hole. It can be heard very subtly together with the Eletric Budda‘s sample. I‘m sure about it, but never found any information about it anywhere
Hard to believe how much of this album was taken from other songs.. Growing up back in the day I thought they wrote all this stuff.. Still love them..thx for the video.
This is called sampling and it's the basis of all electronic music, try to make something like this and you'll realize how hard and legit it is, I'd argue harder than to make the original song
I think I found the drum sample for it doesn't matter. I believe that if you take The Fatback band - Wicky Wacky (Jamie 326 Edit) and speed it up by about 1.25% using RU-vid advanced settings, it's basically dead on the beat...ok, maybe it's a beat and a half quicker on the Chem-Bro's track but, playing the two side by side, it's pretty close
Yeah.. The label was threatened by the Beatles label, for that, but somehow, they label nosies or managers settled that.. Or like, the finale conclusion was that chems didn't copy it..
