I always imagine this being combined with videogame montages, whether first-person shooters to just chill games like minecraft Also i'm making a Fukin Grilled cheese rn to this :D
The part with the rising water wasn't as hellish as i remembered... Also, i loved what they did with the soundtrack. In the first act of the zone, they put the best parts of the original zones together in one nostalgia-filled level. And the soundtrack reflects that really well. In the first act, it's a slight remix of the original track, but mostly the same. But in the second act, where they introduce a whole new level filled with new concepts, the soundtrack does the same, going all-out with brand-new music.
2021: This song is amazing! 2092: This song is amazing! 3789: This song is amazing! 5664: This song is amazing! 2024 editing cain: Can you guys please stop replying to this cringe-ass comment I made all the way back in 2020
bro why tf all sonic mania OST is that good bro. It isn't allowed to be this way. The musics are simply incredible. Trully worth buying the game, even today, after more than 3 years of the release.
I honestly would've preferred Emerald since the recent sonic games have been oversaturated with Green hill as of late (maybe throw in star light because without it you're left without sonic 1 representation?) Marble zone, just no.
THIS IS THE BEST COMMENT IVE EVER READ I JUST WANNA TELL YOU HOW MUCH I LOVE AND CHERISH THIS COMMENT YOU ARE TRULY MY FAVORITE PERSON ON THIS EARTH AND YOU TRULY ARE THE GREATEST PERSON IN THE WORLD HAVE A GREAT DAY YOU BEUTIFUL PERSON
I firmly believe one of the best things about Sonic music, across the entire franchise's existence, is that driving baseline. They NAILED it on the first few games alone.
The original composer for the 16 bit games IS a phenominal bass player and he always made sure to let that shine through in these tracks. The originals are better than this crap.
When I played this game and got to this stage, I cried of nostalgia. Playing this game religiously on the Sega Genesis during weekends and some visits at my cousin's.
E só voar com o tails no msm lugar q os dois chãos a ficando andando de lado em lado, e pronto cê já chegou nessa parte sem precisar fzr a parte da água q sobe :)
@@lissolomon995 no one deserves death. You are no one to judge. Only god can judge. Real shit... I suggest you change your views because that was messed up
In 1994 this song flashed me as a 4 years old young kid (I could just watching my older brothers playing that amazing game called Sonic the Hedgehog 2) and it still flashing me today in my early 30s!
Studiopolis made it in most likely because it's sort of the main "gem" I guess you can say that is usually associated with Sonic Mania. Represents it the best as a standout title.
I feel old listening to this even if I'm only 14, since one of the first games I ever played with my dad was Sonic too and when I got Sonic Mania Plus I legit screamed for joy when I saw chemical plant😂
Back when this game first came out I was the first kid in my class to beat the rising-chemicals portion, 'cause I had two weeks off school sick right after I got it for my birthday. Most worthwhile lung seizure ever.
according to another comment, an anime channel called TMS is copyright striking both green hill zone and starlight zone. despite them not owning either song
I miss sonic 2. I used to Play the original on GameCube with my little cousin. Now he's grown up and too cool for for Sonic to Play this with me anymore 😭
I haven't played like any sonic game except sonic adventure 2: battle but I just started to play sonic mania (like literally today) just because the music is so good I've been listening to it for a whole week now since I've discovered it ‼‼
This is like the most nostalgic song of all time for me because as a kid even though I played Minecraft a lot I played my dad's Sega way more, and this song is the one that stuck with me because I could never beat the Chemical Plant Zone as a kid.
This level was where me and my bro got stuck. We played up until chemical plant. Quit the game for a while because of how hard it was, then flying battery came along. Then I quit for a while. And then eventually I was the only one to beat the game. My brother had lost all interest.
ahhh. the memories of dying to purple water AGAIN and AGAIN, the little beeps always used to stress me out, worse when the music faded out and became the drowning theme... the triangle guys with the spikes on their head that shoot one one little dot? hate 'em. also the weird blob of blue goop that came out the pipes? hate them too. this zone... augh. can't deny the music slaps tho! and the fast parts were COOL
Your Sonic Mania memories with chemical: The sick remix in the Act 2 Dr Ivo Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine Suddenly dying in the 4-block moving stairs Falling down the yellow floor to the grape juice Sonic & Mighty / Ray drowning in the grape juice Tails / & Knuckles drowning
