That comes from Sonic Pocket Adventure for the awesome-yet-oft-forgotten Neo Geo Pocket Color. It mixes past zones and music, but trust me it is a DREAM to play, especially with the almighty clicky stick!

Didn't seem to bad on ground, underwater was terrible. Generations is just insane, never knew it's 2d was that fast only played the game once or twice on someone else's console

Personal choice, but I'd rather they be ordered by how modern they look rather than game release date. The vid goes by this itself by starting with Game Gear Sonic which was made after Sonic 2.

The Sonic 2 and Mania versions were by far the best ones. You could go so fast in chemical plant in 2 you could actually outrun the camera, it was insane. The Mania version is just as good but i'm personally not a fan of the wacky workbench gimmick in act 2. I still preffer Sonic 2's chemical plant, but the boss fight in Mania is just legendary.

I like the whacky workbench gimmick in act 2 tbh, chemical plant is one of my favorite all time zones, and whacky workbench is top 3 for CD for me xD

@@fusionwing4208 like with everything in mania, they made the mechanic work really well with the level design. I have no idea why sega hasn’t let them make a full fledged game with unique levels yet. It’s super frustrating seeing another 3D sonic game that doesn’t understand what makes sonic good while hearing absolutely nothing about a new mania game.

@@maninblack3410 SEGA being SEGA: too scared to try New things because 9 out 10 times they screw something really important and that makes the game get a worse rating: - Shadow the hedgehog's entirety concept and laughable execution. - the entirety of Sonic's 06 group splitting and terrible game because of a stupid Virtual Birthday for Sonic. - the horrible motion controls from Secret Rings. - the better controls but meh experience from Black Knight, making them give up on the book-style game series. - the werewolf from Unleashed. - the wisps from Sonic colors - The terrible final Boss from Generations (still a good game tho). - The meh and weird attempt to copy Mario Galaxy's Sucess and failing miserably with Sonic Lost World and Its childish writing. - The overuse of Nostalgia to get easy money from die hard fans, but even them were tired at this point, in Mania. - The weak story, poor character representations and automated boost to win formula from Forces, when Generations already had almost perfected It 7 years ago. The irony here being that Mania's original levels were the highest point of the game and It was criticized for lacking more of them and using nostalgia as a cheap way to attract people to the game, lol.
