@@BaconsAreEpic123 I think it’s because the art style, while good, doesn’t fit the art style of the rest of the game. It looks good on its own, but it’s pretty jarring to look at in the actual game.
But many sprites from sonic 3 left from sonic 2 even when you walking you can see sonic 2 sprites in final version and even in sonic 3 and knuckles not sonic 3 alone there are so many sonic 2 sprites only knuckles didnt uses sonic 2 sprites because there are no knuckles in sonic 2 (not locked on)

At the start when the ball tried to push you into the spikes that gave me an idea for a boss that would be a mix between the quartz quadrant boss and lava reef boss. Just a thought
all ive noticed so far sonic 1: the drum beats at the start are different the sega logo has a different animation jumping at the end of the level is different sonic 2: the title screen has the sonic 1 theme the title screen background is unfinished tails in the title screen doesnt have his intro sonic has one sprite in his title screen sonic's walk animation is different the enemys are different sonic 3: sonic is still in his sonic 2 animations the sega logo has some bugs the title screen has no flash or fade in sonic has no animation in his title screen position *no copyright or sega 1993* instead of the intro with the tornado its a unused sonic surfing animation with buggy effects no super sonic in intro knuckles lookin very strange in the intro
