CHEMICAL PREGNANCY | What is it? What causes it? Can you prevent it?

It’s so unfortunate. I experience this almost 3 weeks ago. It’s discouraging especially when you did everything you felt would help you get pregnant and then to experience this is heart breaking. I experience two pregnancy loss in the second trimester and have been trying for the past 2.5 years to get pregnant. The month I decided to try again with help of Letrozole I experience this. I learn to look at chemical pregnancy as a sign that my body is working and that it’s going to happen it just wasn’t the month. Sending lots of love and hugs to those who are currently experiencing this. I never knew what a chemical pregnancy was until I started trying to conceive with help of medications. I don’t blame it but it’s unfortunate. Thanks for shedding light on this issue.

Thank you for your video this really helped a lot. Me and my husband are trying to conceive for 2 years and nothing yet. I did had a postive test 2 weeks ago and tested again a few days later and I did get faint faint lines. But after that they started being negatives. I misscarried at around 10 days from the due period.. got a positive 3 days before... it's a rollercoaster of emotions, like I haven't even gotten to realize I was truly pregnant (had sore breasts and dizziness), and suddenly it was taken away... I did grieve for a bit, but this video has helped me cope better with that unfortunate event and now I know it has happened for a reason..

After losing baby girl with Encephalosis at 23 weeks , got induced. 12 weeks later got a positive test then the next day it was negative and started bleeding shorty after so I’m pretty sure that was a Chemical pregnancy!

I had a lot of early pregnancy symptoms with my chemical. Frequent urination, sore breasts, morning sickness, extreme fatigue.

This is why I would wait until the day of the missed period or the day before to test.

Thank you for the video, very informative and reassuring. I think I might have had this. I had all of the signs and symptoms of early pregnancy, right from 3DPO, day 7-10 DPO had the signs of implantation, but I decided not to do the test after my due date of the period 27/02/20 to be sure for the BFP. 13 -14 DOP I didn't have the early pregnancy symptoms, was very nervous for the due date of the period. It didn't come in the morning, was very relieved, but then late in the night I felt I was bleeding. And yes, my period came, almost a day late, but it came. I was convinced I was pregnant. I did had UTI before my fertile week, and was treated with antibiotic at the time of conceiving, I am not sure if my body was fighting the infection still at the time, I am not sure at all. My husband and I were both disappointed, but we believed that we can conceived, which is reassuring for us and it was our first try, any way. So we are looking forward to try again in the next cycle.

hello, thanks for your video! :) I suspect that I was chemically pregnant. Unfortunately, there was nothing on the ultrasound except a lot of mucous membrane. My pregnancy test showed positive for 6 days. I only tested 5 days after my missed period. So I was a few days pregnant :( I started bleeding 6 days after my first positive test. So my period was 11 days overdue. I have a regular 28 day cycle. When I started bleeding I knew it was over. My gynecologist did a blood test. My HCG score was 220. isn't that too high for a chemical pregnancy? I am so unsettled. Unfortunately my baby left. I am so afraid that I cannot have healthy children. I am happy about an answer, I come from Germany. Best regards :)

I've experienced chemical pregnancy 3 times now,I even thought I couldn't bare a child...This is so informative since I didn't know what was happening with me.... I would get severe cramping or should I say contractions, headaches,weakness,and bleeding ... I went for an ultrasound and the doc said I have no problem at all. Although i happened tp be taking typhpid meds when i was trying to conceive on all the 3 pregnancy ,"coincidentally"So my question is, could it have triggered the chemical pregnancy? Plz help

Doctor confirmed futus in the womb... Began Frequent urination of every few minutes and increased apetite 3days passed period. Missed period for 5days. Did PT and was faint positive 4days passed period.. And suddenly no more symtoms still no period. What do you think?

2chemical pregnancies in last two months :(

I had missed one period and it was time for my next period. I had miscarried and passed a good amount of tissue. Would this have been a chemical pregnancy? It seemed odd that the miscarriage happened right when it was time for my next period. Can you explained this to me please?😊

Low amounts of HCG are always present. When tested a number under 10 is considered normal “not pregnant”.

Just had chemical pregnancy

After i missed my period i did pregenency test and result is faint line positive After 4 days again i did test it become negative y Still i have abdomen pain and vomitings..... Pls clarify my doubt

I just found out about my chemical pregnancy I took a pregnancy test on July 7 and my test came back positive but the I checked with doctor and my HCG levels went from 647 and then I had to keep going back to check my levels. And I even went for a ultrasound and they seen a gestational sack and they gave the age but they could not see any baby. I will have go back to check my HCG levels on Friday.

I had three miscarriage on my first week

I have had a few pregnancy test that are fainted lines. I’m not sure if i am pregnant but i have cramps here and there and keep thinking it is my period or pregnancy?. I’m late on my period for two days now. Please help.

i had faint pregnancy test and was feeling alot of morning sickness and tiredness my last metrual was August 24 2020 and did my test on sept 16-20 but unfortunately I started bleeding on the 24th and stop on the 26 I dont know how to feel I just recently did another pregnancy test and I'm still getting a faint positive

Hi I had a chemical pregnancy last month. We decided to ttc again strait after but I I ovualated 5 days earlier than normol on CD 8. Giving me just a 23 day cycle. My normol ovulation is CD12 to 13. And my Cycle is 26 to 28 days. Do u think this was because of the chemical? I'm 40 and now on CD4 of a brand new cycle and I'm worried I'm going to ovulate to early again. I know it is prob down to the chemical because my cycles were normol before but I'm still worried esp with my age.

You should have just said a chemical pregnancy happens when u get your period when its due. Miscarriage is when u miss your period & have a positive pregnancy test then u miscarry
