Hi Marina! I can't thank you enough for making these videos. I start 12 weeks of carbo/taxol/keytruda Monday followed by 12 weeks of the "red devil" and I'm scared out of my wits. Ive been picturing myself becoming this shell of a person and seeing you so beautiful, vibrant, and positive has comforted me so much. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Meeting with my Oncology Doctor today for consultations. Wondering what coming up my way. And tomorrow meeting with reconstructive surgery. I do feeling overwhelmed with all of things. But this things I must do. So I am ok with it

Thanks for you tips. Are you saying not to the ice packs and the powder at the same time. Use one or the other, or can you use the powder and the ice packs both during chemo?☺️🙏🏻 Thank you 🙏🏻

Hi! Definitely use the ice packs during chemo and the glutasolve powder is something you drink after chemo.

@@MarinaBlackford I can’t thank you enough. God bless you 🙏🏻 for being so helpful to everyone. And so quickly ♥️. 😔 I went through Chemo with my Mom, years ago. It was horrible. Now I have to make the same decisions at near 70. 😞 I wanted to refuse Chemo, but everyone says it is signing your own death certificate. I was considering radiation instead, but that might not be an option for older women with aged thin skin. 😞 I listen to most all your videos and I am doing my homework ahead of time. Thank you! THANK YOU THANK YOU 🙏🏻 🤣

I just went through 8 hours of chemo only reaction I had was to the premeds. On Friday boy, bad idea to jump to back to work I felt like shit! And had to get a shot to keep my white blood cells up. I was bloated then Christmas Eve I start to feel a bit better and Christmas I was okay today back to myself but I got dry mouth!

Hi Melissa! I hope you’re doing better now. Try using a dry mouth rinse if you need to.

Going to be starting my first round of a 6 round (1 treatment every 3 weeks) of chemo for ovarian cancer. I see that you shared a link for the packaged ginger from Amazon but I would like to get the type that you show in your plastic container. Can you share where you got them from. Im in Illinois, we have Jewel food store, Trader Joe's, Marianos, Whole Foods and Aldi. Thanks for sharing your experience, they will really help me prepare.

Hi! Yes, I found mine at Sprouts here in Arizona. They sell it where they might have the bulk items like nuts and dried fruit. I’d imagine a main grocery or Whole Foods would have it.

Hi Marina, Thank you for sharing all your tips and experience. Is peppermint tea or candy good for anti nausea? I will be having my first chemo this week.

You’re welcome! Ginger tea and ginger candy help with nausea. Ginger is strong so try some honey in the tea and a flavored ginger candy like ginger mango. Peppermint tea may help after chemo with an upset stomach.

I was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer in March of 2020. How long after your first diagnosis did the cancer come back?

I just had my 1st round of chemotherapy for ovarian cancer and it not fun. Do u take any vitamins or supplements while u doing chemo?

Hi, no it is not fun. Report all your symptoms at your next appointment to see if the nurses or doctors can help your symptoms with premeds. I recommend lots of water. I only took a womens multivitamin. My doctor did not want me to take other supplements because they can interfere with the chemo working. I would eat well like smoothies and soups right now.
