All great suggestions. Especially taking electrolyte drink, and the lidocaine/prolocaine cream. Round #5 (final) coming up Thurs for me. My treatment started in January (only the capecitabine pills then, during radiation) and i had to bring gloves because the pills made my fingers (everything, really) hypersensitive to cold. Now that I'm taking pills plus the oxaliplatin infusion that side effect is even worse. I would add: cell charger and 10ft charge cord. And if you feel like writing a letter while you wait, take a clipcase. You can stash stationery and pens inside. Stamps too, if you want to mail it from the hospital. And candy bars fit too.
