Hello Will, your chemo started to kick in. I understand what you’re going through (speaking from experience). You WILL get through it. Some tips that might help you while undergoing chemo: 1. Fatigue or tiredness- if your body wants to sleep, please sleep. Why? Sleep helps strengthen your immune system. You and your immune system is going through the toughest assault with chemo, so it needs all the sleep time to recover. 2. Nausea and vomiting- ask the doctors if you can take anti-nausea tablets. Eating citrus fruits can help with nausea. 3. Trouble sleeping - try and listen to relaxing music or meditate. If you have the strength you can go for a walk and be with nature to ease your mind before going to bed 4. Anxiety, feeling sad or something is worrying you- talk to someone especially your support system. Don’t bottle things up. This is the time to be kind and generous to yourself. Read or watch comedy. In short, cut yourself some slack and do things that can help elevate your mood. 5. Itchy or dry skin - use moisturizer liberally, especially after shower. Moisturise, moisturise, moisturise. 6. Weak immune system- ask your doctor if you can take multi-vitamins with minerals. Get some Viamin D from the sun if possible. Vitamin D helps in reducing risk of flu. Eat loads of fruits particularly fruits high in vitamin C. It can help with your energy. 7. Metallic taste- eating citrus fruits (organic orange, mandarin, etc) helps minimise the metallic taste. Drink green tea and filtered water. 8. Loss of appetite - there might be a time when you don’t feel like eating. It is important to sustain nourishments. Bone broth ( I use chicken) can help because it is packed with amino acids that can boost your immune system and help settle you stomach. Juicing is good too because it helps with constipation. 9. Chemo fog - you might temporarily experience being a little forgetful. Keep a journal in hand and write all the things that are important for you to remember especially things that have to do with your treatment. All the tips I have listed are from experience and hoping that it can help you. You know your body better than anyone else. Listen to what it needs.

Just finished watching this and one thing struck me. I love the chaos that was in this video. This wasn't simply banter between family members, this was noisy love. Noisy love is all about bed making, book stealing, complaining about sibling attention, cleanup after mail time, and roasting each other. Noisy love pushes, pulls, shouts, laughs, and takes no prisoners with family humor. Some might think it's over the top... but noisy love is the electricity that powers us. It makes hearts grow and helps healing tonic flow through our veins. Later, it's memory charges us again in the alone quiet hours when sleep is hard to come by. There is a time for quiet love... silent hand holding and walking together when words just don't seem right. This is strong stuff meant for other times... but now now... This noisy love stuff... Let this love roar with laughter like a stoked bonfire! So... again thank you for showing me what I needed to learn again today. Raise your fists, you warriors of noisy love!

Hey man I'm 16 and I was diagnosed with osteosarcoma last year and lost my leg because of it I had a total of 17 sessions of chemo and we would normally have to stay for 5 days so t would be 3 days of chemo and then 2 days of recovery. Honestly the beginning sucks a lot of nausea and sleepiness and for me I lost memory of what I even did because of the drugs. Also you will most likely get side affects later on like I have a 24/7 ringing in my ears because of chemo damaging my ears. So trust me man chemo isn't that bad you'll get through it later on the first months of sessions always suck. Stay strong my man

Will! I'm also from the Bay Area. Born and raised in South San Francisco to be exact. Moved to Makati in 2012. First vlog I saw of you was when you were eating siling peppers. Kept watching your vlogs and realized you were also from SF and that you were able to teach yourself Tagalog and I understood your Tagalog because it was the right mix of taglish. Haha. Anyways man got hooked to your vlogs and I would tell my wife what was new with you and the squad all the time. We recently moved back to the Bay just this past May. Once I got here I stopped keeping up with your vlogs because of work. Then my wife sent me the link to your news of cancer. Just like all your followers man I felt so bad for you. Here's the point of this long story bro. My dad was diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer with a GFR of 1500 (tumor count). He was in so much pain that Percocet and Vicodin wasn't helping. The pain was from his colon being inflamed. They gave him emergency surgery and that fixed his pain, but he still had cancer and his doctor said he needed 3 weeks to recover before he could start chemo. I've always read stories about CBD from marijuana is able to tell Cancer cells to somehow commit suicide. So I researched and found him a CBD VAPE CARTRIDGE. He used it a few times a day for 3 weeks and nothing else. After 3 weeks he had an appointment and I asked the doctor what his tumor would be. She replied saying I didn't give him any treatment so it should be 1500 or more. They ran the test and it came back at 50. Doctor was stunned. 1 month later it is now at 1.5. He's practically normal now! Last week I met a pancreatic research doctor by the name of Elias Kouchakji, Vice President of his department at Fibrogen which is right across the street from UCSF in Mission Bay. Anyways I asked him if CBD really tells cancer cells to commit suicide and he flat out said YES. He said CBD does kill cancer cells but it also does kill the good cells along the way. I replied just like chemo but without and side affects right. He agreed CBD will do no harm, no side affects like nausea, vomiting, no knocking your energy down. So why not try it. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Reach out to me. I'm just on the other side of the GG bridge brother. I'm not selling anything either. Just trying to give back to you like you given to so many of your fans. You could meet my dad and ask him about his experience. ✌

Under a previous video I recommended you some natural health supplement I will just copy that comment in case you didn't manage to read it. Those things would really really help you with all of this including the side effect of the chemotherapy. And stay strong you can get through this! "Hi Wil! I could never imagine what you are going through, but I wanted to share my story with you. I had a bad skin condition and it stopped me to be active in my life. I had to take medication in order to be able to function, the medication is the same chemical that's in chemotherapy. I know the feeling of no energy and been sick I have it constantly and will do for the rest of my life. I have had this change to cure my skin and it's been the best thing in the world I wouldn't change it. I keep positive and healthy as I can, things like hair falling out and lack of energy will always be there. I want you to know that your videos have helped me to enjoy every day of my life and think about the desition I choose in my life. I want to thank you for that.

Welcome to our world Will. Chemo really knocks you on your ass doesn't it? Cheer up, two things kill cancer, surgery and chemo. The rest are just extras. Even though you feel like sleeping for 16 hours a day, try to keep active. Keep strong, the chemo kills more than the bad guys and you need to rebuild the good cells as fast as you can. I assume that since your getting chemo before surgery you must be stage III or IV, so your in for a long ride. LEARN TO MEDITATE. You're going to find that anxiety, depression and fear are actually worse than the surgery or chemo. That's why your support people are so important. You're going to make it, and in the end no one's going to be able to call you a "snowflake". Life isn't fair, but your alive, so try to make the best of every day. Best wishes...

I have to take meds that make me very tired and sleep a lot. It's not fun at all to live life like this but I manage to just do what I can do just take it easy and rest when you need too. Watching your VLOG makes me wonder how my mother went through those cycles of chemotherapy. I wasn't there to see it first hand, so I don't know what was it look like... Until I see your VLOG, looks agonizing at times --- sort of. Be looking at how you document those cycles... For you and I may have the higher risk of cancer passed on by our ancestors. My case [My lolo and lola in the father side, my nanay -- just survived the stage 3 a little less than a year ago]. Your family is very loving and supportive, so I am confident you'll be fine eventually. Keep it up man! You inspire me...

Hey man! Cheers! Keep walking, stay strong and confident. Chemo really sucks ... but it sucks that is part of the fight and the process. And ultimately she helps in her recovery and struggle for life. I have close relatives who have been through the same situation. Father and mother. My mother first, she survived and overcame this challenge life proposed. My father on the other hand also fought as far as he can, but unfortunately it was time for him to leave. What I want to pass on to you and anyone else in the same situation is to keep believing and having faith in yourself. I start chemo for breast cancer on Mon 10/2 and you can't imagine how much your videos are helping me. Thank you for posting your journey with this so much. Was diagnosed early March and did 8 sessions of Chemotherapy. Thankful to be here in North America, didn't need to stress out about money to get treated. All you need to do is to show up for appointments and keep fighting. Chemo sucks the energy out of you. I have never felt so tired and there are days that you feel helpless. It's unbelievable. Now, I'm just waiting for my surgery. You'll get through it. Just stay positive. Last day of Chemo feels like waking up on Christmas Day.... you look forward to it every session 😀

It's okay Will! Things will get better, I remember my first time having chemotherapy. I had to stay in the hospital for a while but now I can move around more and go to the hospital less. Just get lots of rest and don't overwork yourself. 🙂😋

Are you not going to wear a mask? After chemo, your white blood cells drop, that is why your immune system gets weaker. You need to be careful and protect yourself more because your body is more prone to getting infections.

Takes super strength to do what you do and catalog it for other people to see what they may go through. Bravo Wil. bravo. Keep up the fight!

Working on a short film for Wil. Not sure if I should post a clip (it's still rough.) but, I really want to cheer him up after seeing this. So, I guess, like this comment if you'd like me to post it.

It's a tough journey but you're more than capable to kick cancers ass! When you endure cancer, you can handle anything that comes your way in life. It makes you and those around you stronger and closer. In 3 short months it'll mark a year of me fighting cancer. It's been a long, painful journey but I know in the end I'll come out a winner and a survivor. You will as well! Continue to stay strong, you got this! Also, there are little candies called QueasyDrops that work miracles for nausea. They help me big time. You can order them off Amazon or usually find them in hospital gift shops. Peppermint tea is also helpful 😊

Hey wil. We all pray for you in this journey. Chemo is tough. It "saves" you from cancer, but slowly "kills" your energy and natural body defense. Make sure you stay hydrated, avoid getting infection (cough, flu, etc) because chemo weakens your immune system big time. Nausea and vomiting, feeling weak, needing for more sleep are all side effects of chemo. Staying hydrated and well nourished are main keys. Stay positive wil! You have a lot of support. Thank you for showing us how to stay positive even when life can be super tough.

FOLFOX?? Yes you will have that reaction to cool or cold temps. Sorry it hit you so hard. Tell them you had vomiting because they can give you diffetent antiemetics.
