My personal sharing to you Wil. This brought back memories from 1987 when my husband and I went through In-Vitro Fertilization IVF using his sperms and my eggs- then 6 embryos that were conceived in a petri dish but only 4 were inplanted in my womb. Donated the 2 to Science as these were medically assessed not of good quality.After two weeks I was pronounced pregnant. Unfortunately, that same night the 4 did not cling in my womb and lost the pregnancy. Spent $10 K on that IVF in Calgary. We did not retry IVF. By Summer 1989 we went on our 10th year Wedding Anniversary trip to Europe. I got pregnant there naturally and had a baby girl. Audrey was a miracle baby. That's God's way of blessing us with a child instead of Science. Best of luck to you Wil. Keep going. God Bless.

It makes it go down much easier. Coming from an RN that gave out these preps for many, many years! Also want to let you know that I am praying for you as you go through this cancer journey. That was a riot... Family is always best... It's a team sport where just being yourself makes you the biggest winner. Speaking as a dad who likes to stir the pot in the family... your dad is an absolute scream! Steve Dasovich, you are my hero! I have also had to do the colonoscopy thing and had to drink all that stuff too. Wife gave me some gum just to keep me busy. Swallowed the gum while drinking the colonoscopy crap... Did everything I could to pass the gum, but had no luck. Explained it to the nurses before the colonoscopy. The nurses laughed and told me that they would show me my gum if they found it. They found it and showed it to me on the screen. We all had a laugh! One last thing... the middle east has the best "butt squirters" on the planet.

Wil, sana makatulong itong sasabihin ko. Gone through Chemo myself, so personal experience ko ito. - You might have sensitivity to cold or heat. Depende. cause when I was having chemo, every after chemo session, Ung iba tao lamig na lamig na pero ako pinagpapawisan. or ung ibang tao pinagpapawisan na ako nag chichill... depende talaga. - Ang sigurado ung vomitting. Kumain ka lang ng kain para may maisuka ka. - You will lose your sense of taste, hyper active naman ang sense of smell mo (you will be nauseated every time you smell something cooking like ginisang bawang at sibuyas) stay away from the kitchen when they are cooking. - pag nasusuka ka ICE CHIPs help. Fruits are better, maaabsorb mo agad ung nutrients. - You need to be near a CR if your undergoing chemo, you would feel extreme weakness...too weak to stand up and walk too far. Flush the toilet twice/ thrice for the next person to use it, the chemo meds are radioactive. - every time you are given your chemo meds, you will feel so hyped up. Dami energy, pero kinabukasan, bed ridden ka, low bat ka. Immunocompromise ka ha so no visitors na may sakit kahit simpleng sipon, di pwd. - if you are so weak, you can inform your onco that you are too weak to undergo chemo (chinicheck naman nila yan, Blood test). May Chemo holiday ka rin. :) - Stay positive. Don't watch DRAMA, stay away from DRAMA.

Dasokids are so Independent and Dependent at the same time. This is what family is all about. I don't understand why so many US kids are so ashamed to be labeled as "living with his/her parents" like there is really nothing wrong with it if they're taking good care of each other and especially when they're working anyway.

I did that colonoscopy procedure preparation like what Haily did after my 54 year-old brother was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer and passed away at the same age. It was a very hard prep because you will always run to bathroom to jerbaks. Then, ang sama pa ng lasa nung liquid na iniinom.take tastes really bad. That's why I'm so happy that Wil got well. And as for me, they found a small polyp but the test result was negative. Papuri talaga sa Diyos.
