CHEN said that he aims the listener to find comfort despite of longing and sadness. He lets himself empty to fill with new memories and move on. His songs always about sadness but with hope. ❤❤❤

thanks for reacting to Chen. Chen said that Empty may have a negative/sad meaning but it is also can be comforting. because anything that is empty can also be filled up again. he wrote the lyrics to this song & 4 other songs in this album. this also has a live performance where he performs with a band. this is what i love about EXO. their solos are diverse. btw! there's also his Secret Duet. it's a new show from hello82 where they put a barricade/wall between 2 singers & they will try to harmonize w/ each other without seeing/knowing who's on the other side. hope you guys check it out. you'll be amazed for sure

Thank you for reacting to Chen's song, I just want to say that I really admire Chen for 10 years, he can always make me happy and cry just by hearing him sing, Chen means a lot to me, there isn't a day without hearing his song. Chen's songs always make me want to cry every night, sometimes for no reason I can cry just by hearing him sing. His vocals cannot be doubted, his voice is truly amazing and makes other people surprised. His voice is so extraordinarily beautiful that no one else can compete with it. he, he is the king of vocals

When ever i hear chen's melodious voice only one word comes to my mind. Nightingale. He should be officiay called the nightingale of Korea❤ i would love to see your reaction to exo cbx Paper cut live and "Cry"live. They are emptional songs too. Also "My answer" live(one with baekhyun on piano) And Exo Call me baby+touch it+Chill live from seoul. You will see the different concepts and styles in their live shows.

This one had me in tears right from the start because my dad passed away in 2015 and we were very close, as was all my family. We always took pictures and growing up I looked forward to the day I got married and taking pictures of my dad walking me down the isle or dancing with me for the father daughter dance. Sadly he passed away before any of that could happen. Even 8 yeas later I still get emotional but with time I have also learned to think of all the happy times as well and I have tons and tons of pictures taken through the years. Man, Chen just has a way of unlocking that emotion in someone. This song is beautiful.

The girl was tired of crying and almost fell in the raills but it was one of the school students that list her friend. The policeman loss his job (he retired). The elderly man lost his cat. And the woman her mother. Chen is the king of sad music. Last scene and beautiful goodbye are more about lost of breaking up with a love one. His songs are full of beautiful sadness.
