Yeah, she wasn't really nice to Travis at first. But her reason was (aside from him "ruining" her plan in getting Tai and Elton together) Travis offered Tai to do dr*gs. She did become nicer to him in the end tho
Audrey F / Her only reason for that was she assumed them to be burnouts with no real passions or future. She cared about Tai and didn’t want her to end up with a guy who would be a bad influence. That’s why she said it’s ok to get 🍃every once in a while at a party but not 24/7. She realized she was wrong about that in the end though.
WELL AS A TEEN GIRL YOU HAVE TO MAKE SURE EVERYONE SUPPORTS YOU OTHERWISE YOU DO YOUR OWN THING MOST OF THE TIME AND YOUR SICK OF YOUR GROUP OF FRIENDS CONSTANT COMPLAINING AND BULLSHIT....THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN GIRLS ARE JEALOUS OF YOU BECAUSE THEY CANT BULLY YOU AROUND ANYMORE BECAUSE YOU ARE SIMPLY NOT THEIR FOR THEM ANYMORE. I STARTED DOING MY OWN THING AT 8TH GRADE BECAUSE IM SICK OF NERDY HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS DRAMA ESPECIALLY AND ESPECIALLY IF THEY ARE NOT AS TALENTED OR RICH AS YOU OR PRETTY AS YOU. HA
@@MB21236 why does there have to be a reply just because X amount of people liked the comment? That's literally what the 'like' is for- to say you agree.
LITERALLY THO!!!!! her speech was about reallocating resources to benefit the most amount of people possible!!! The allegory to her dad's b'day was ON POINT! Amber's just rude 🙄
@@blazingstar9638 it wasn't- Legally Blonde is from a writer who did a play-on of her own experiences at Stanford Law School. Clueless, and the character Cher, is based off of Jane Austen's book "Emma".
@@blazingstar9638 No. Cher was based off Jane Austen’s book “Emma” while Legally Blonde was based off the writer of the movie’s experiences during their time at law school
The thing I love about Cher is that, while she's the epitome of the wealthy, beautiful, Los Angeles valley girl, she's not mean or stupid. At worst, she's naive and a little shallow, at her best though she's ambitious, kind-hearted, clever, and understanding. She managed to raise her grades through pure persuasion, she befriended the new girl and helped her fit in, she successfully started and ran a disaster relief charity, played matchmaker for two lonely teachers, and befriended the gay kid but didn't try to change him or have any issue with his sexuality (which was pretty progressive for 1995). That, my friends, is a well-written, three dimensional character.
best quote from this movie ??? "my plastic surgeon says i cant participate in any activity that involves balls flinging at my face" "their goes your social life🙄"
The fact that i just realised its paul rudd is ignorant. I always thought that he looks like someone that i familiar with but never realise that it was him lol
@@kirtu9035 Nope I was watching Clueless when I was 7 🤣, the 90s were a fun time! If it was on regular TV (non-cable) then my mom knew it was edited and couldn’t show too much or say bad words. Plus there was a clueless tv show that I loved watching after school!
No man is gay. That’s a lie from the devil and people force sin on other people which is upsetting the natural order of Creation and that is confusing men. Witchcraft is what’s going on. Women are not meant to be looking inside mens minds. They are not to usurp mens authority. Lawlessness will reap destruction.
my biggest pet peeve is when people put Cher in a category with Regina George, Heather Chandler, etc. bc she’s NOT a mean girl at all sis really had the purest intentions, she just went about them the wrong way
“Oops…my bad..!” “Ooo! Should I write them a note?” 😂😭 that was absolutely hilarious! “Oops” also adds to the humour since I say “oops” instead of “sorry”..-
One of the best part about Cher is even though she found out that Christian was gay, she befriended him even more instead of hating or secretly backstabbing him like what most other people would do.
@@orianegabrielledidavegelin2998 Perhaps not now. People's voices change as they age. I haven't watched her in anything recently, but she definitely did sound like this back when she was doing a lot of talk shows in the late '90s/early 2000s.
@@sarojiniammaj9039 Ah- I thought it was because he liked her or they were dating and she said she “loves” someone else(I’ve only watched short clips so I don’t know much about the movie)
@@JPJapoli hmmm.. that's actually a rlly good interpretation but I should crack a huge spoiler to prove otherwise which I'm not gonna do cause u might at sometime be interested in watching it😄. She just lied at that point cause yk... She loves him and whatever he said she wanted to agree(?) To it. So it might be like that....
Guy: holds gun to my head Me: AAAAAGETTHEFUCKAWAYAAAAAA *screams insanely loud* Guy: holds gun to Cher’s head Her: *whines* and is annoyed because of her *dress*
Tbh I wouldn’t scream either; I’m not a screamer and it’d be awkward screaming like that, And I don’t know what to shout so I’d probably just stay silent..-
Add Elle Woods to the mix, even if the character is older than the other three. Man, Elle Woods, Regina George and Cher Horowitz - a trio of Blonde Titans!!!
@@aditipant249 She became nicer later on. I can see Cher and Elle being good influences on her. At the very least, they'd be able to keep her in place. ;)
She's a rich girl, prolly doesn't know all the clothes in her closet. The computer should have a catalogue of all of em and just tells her which goes with which depending on where she's going
I honestly love how she only totally broke down when the robber demanded her to lie on the pavement 😂 it gives sooo much life to her character. The whole movie proved that shes more than just a spoiled white rich girl. She had decent knowledge about fashion and she cared for her clothes. Shes beauty brains and personality but in a spoiled rich girl manner 😂😂
Cher is a girly girl who loves fashion, but is also intelligent, which is great cuz girls who are interested in that sort of thing can also b smart. Wish more teen movies showed that 💁♀️ lol
I thought this was common knowledge but since the top comments don't seem to mention it: Clueless is a modern version of Jane Austen's 19th century novel Emma. Cher is Emma Woodhouse. Emma is neither stupid nor mean but a bit "clueless" about the issues other people face. Initially she doesn't understand why her friend Harriet Smith (Tai) would be interested in a farmer for a husband, not realizing that for Harriet coming from a poor background, marrying a farmer means more economic stability for Harriet. Both Emma and Cher come from wealthy families. Both Emma and Cher play matchmaker.
I love this movie so much I think I was like 5 when this came out got all the clueless Barbie’s Cher, Dionne and amber lol I loved that Cher was so beautiful but always kind and wanting to help
I have worked in NYC since 2018. One of the things I love is how so many people from so many nations still want to come to the United States for freedom and opportunities . Every time I hear the conclusion of Cher’s debate class speech, that it does not say RSVP on the Statue of Liberty, tears come to my eyes ! Love it !
the thing i love about cher is even though she's pretty and rich she's really sweet, kind helpful and intelligent l i wish all popular girls are like that
@@iannesingkeey4786 I have watched it so many times and basically know the whole script by heart and yet it never gets old lol. I went on a trip with my parents for the 4th of July weekend this year and we stayed up late on the night of the 4th watching movies and stuff and eventually my parents went to sleep while I stayed up watching something on TV and then when it ended I checked the other channels and they had Clueless on and I literally stayed up until like 4 am to watch the rest of it 😂😂😂
