This is honestly the deepest, most emotional song I've ever heard or seen from her. This song was so raw, so was the music video. The video is perfect and the song isn't shallow or childish like her others, don't get me wrong, I love Cher, but this is a whole different side of her and I think everyone loves it.

It's because "hits" like Want U Back are scientifically proven to be more popular because they repeat the same lyrics over and over again. Which people like more so therefore they top the charts, and a song like Siren usually won't top the chart.
Because they "engineer" songs that are popular to get stuck in your head. They're produced that way, so when a song like this comes out - they don't have as much publicity and are spread by word of mouth from fans more than anything else.

It's also showing how an innocent child is growing up in this environment. Cher burns the evidence so that he won't go to jail, and be able to come back to Cher and his child to live together happily. They're always on the run, and she can't take it anymore.

Definitely an amazing album! I had my dad listen to Sirens and he's sad it wasn't a huge hit! It was Epic/Syco (Old Labels) fault for not letting her release or promote it how she wanted to.

It's been 6 years since she released this music video and its still damn better than most songs released through the years. This song is just so emotional and beautiful on a personal level. Its like a part of Cher's soul was poured out to us through this song. The fact that this relates to her personal life makes me want to hug young Cher. But in the behind the scenes video, near the end she explains how you not only realize the little girl is her 'child' but also her. So in other words, she had experienced a similar incident from when she was a little child. However, I may not be entirely right.
